Your favorite bushcraft knife with 3 to 5 in. blade?

Sitting here tonite and thought I'd add a gem from Brian Andrews to the mix. One of the most comfortable knives to hold, great for bushcraft and throws a ton of sparks. Plus it just screams cool.

For me - I can never decide:

However, the ones that get the most time on my belt are the ML Straight Back Kephart, the Fiddleback Arete (whatever type), and the Bark River Gunny.

Very nice knives !!!

BTW, why the above knife named "Straight Back Kephart"? From the photo it look like a drop point blade... Any kephart features that have not been revealed from the photo? :)

I know it's ever so slightly under the reqirements, but i never go into the woods without my izula 2 and a baton to beat the heck out if it with. Small knife with a huge punch. Also, i enjoy brinking some of my BK&T tweeners with me.

picked up a new one yesterday in the 4 inch length category. It is the one on the far right, a BlackJack Spe-Ops prototype in A2.
The ones I have are a mix of custom and factory. Both sources offer good products. Favorites include the Ray Laconico, my Brian Andrews, my Busse CABS, and the Spyderco.

I have one of these with natural Micarta scales and it goes along on EVERY camping trip. Wonderful knife!

I probably use the Bushfinger the most, the B1 for more abusive tasks and Northstar when I want something light and pretty.

The one I probably use even more than the Bushfinger is a Spyderco Military since I don't always carry a fixed blade on shorter hikes..
