Your favorite/ dream knife

How often do you look at your dream knives if u dont have them
What do you with your knife and how often do you use it if you have it

Hinderer XM-18 3.5" production flipper. Whether Spanto, Slicer or the awesome new Wharnie I can't choose, so don't ask me to, :) (get all 3!).

A very close second though is the Chris Reeve Large Sebenza 21 Insingo (though the standard clip point is great too).

If all I had were XMs & Sebbies in my collection I would be ok (though a few Spydies would be nice too ;) ).

My dream blade will be of my own making from "junk" parts.

I want to make a fixed blade: 8" cutting edge short-ish speartip. 1/4" thick and 2" wide. Finger choil. Saber grind. Black and green micarta. It's going to be made from an old leaf spring plate but I want to laminate with s30v or a similar stainless if I can get some. And the micarta will be made from old Carhartts. No high polishing for me I like a satin finish.

I'm satisfied with what I have, and my faves are my Strider SnG and mini-Tighe-rod. Still mulling over whether or no to buy a sebenza.

GTC Plasma. The most badass folder I've seen. I probably will never be able to afford it even if I had the patience to wait in the 5-7 year line.

My wait was only 18months I'm probably a good yr out still...
My grail is a RJ Martin DRT currently looking for 1...
There's a few others I have my eyes on like a Fraley torrent n I recently got on Stan Wilsons books for a non flipper flipper

i have some nice hinderer xm18s and busse custom shop knives incoming but...

i really would like to buy the knife i missed out on many years ago the:

strider msc, sng, nightmare trisula grind !!! - non-tanto - preferable non recurve - i want one :D

Want list: Turpin Logic & Laconico small jasmine. Super clean designs. I just got a Curtiss 3.5 F3, so I am incredibly satisfied for a long time. Just finished off some pallet bands and cardboard with the F3... such a great knife.

As of right now it would be the El Patron I just scored. Jeremy knows how to make a knife!

I think I have developed an unhealthy habit of searching the web for new knives. There are some that I don't know about yet!

I have to confess that customs aren't really a real draw for me, due to their price range. My favorite knife out of my current collection (folderwise) is my new Spyderco Gayle Bradley. An inexpensive knife, as high end knives go, but this thing is amazing. Fit, finish, blade steel, shape, and it fits my hand like it was made for me personally. Can't say enough good things about it. As for my fixed blades, I love my BK-2, and I'm hoping that my incoming RMD will be all that I've read that they are.
