Your favorite FOOTWEAR?

Redwing 4473 boots. They're incredibly comfortable; like moccasins with steel toes and a steel reinforced insole. They've helped me immensely with chronic knee problems and the steel toes have saved me countless times around grip trucks etc.

They are on my feet for everything but dressy occasions - for that I've got a pair of cheap-ass Payless dress shoes that look halfway decent.

Rockport boat shoes. I basically live in these. I'm trying out a pair of leather Merrill Jungle Mocs for the winter, feel good so far.

At work I usually switch to a pair of medium priced sneakers, honestly don't even know the brand. I'll pay no more than $50.00 and throw them out in a year or two.:)

- Hiking, and winter casual - Lowa Renegade GTX Mids
(These things are AWESOME, waterproof gore tex liner, warm and unbelievably light and comfortable - HIGHLY recommended!)

- Deep snow use (shoveling/snowblowing) - Sorel leather boots
- Sports - Nike cross trainers
- Biking - Shimano MTB shoes
- Summer casual - Sperry Topsiders
- Wet play(heh heh, beach, sailing, kayaking etc...)- Nike sandals
- Work - Florsheim Comfortechs

Jeez, I never realized I had so many different kinds of footwear!! Plus I have golf shoes, and Ski boots, cross country and downhill. And some others that I probly should get rid of, cause I never wear em.

Hands Down, the best footwear EVER is Getta Grip Rangers, 12 eye Steel Toed, Steel Shank!!! Best boots I ever owned and I spend about an hour or so every year or two to find a new pair. Used to where them 18 hours a day, they fit like a glove after about a week.

As for shoes, Gotta have the Airwalks.

My everyday shoes are a pair of Nikes picked only for their looks. Otherwise they're not so nice. I haven't really found favorite everyday boots yet.

For running, ASICS. Nothing else has fit my feet that well.

For hiking in dry ground, or shallow snow, Salomon hiking boots. They have amazing grip.

Sandals - Merrell or ASICS. The Merrells are top quality for hiking, I wouldn't hesitate to go on a 30km trip with them.

Casual: Workmates(can't find any other names on these ones), steeltoe
Work: US Army boots, jungleboot style
Dressy: Parade Boots(got an extra pair from the Air Cadet program), glossy/mirror finish

around the house, running, walking to the store and such: leather slippers

still trying to find a good pair of leather soft-sole boots... like moccassins, but without the beadwork... the best I've found were the same height as my army boots, but they had a gard sole on them.

None, I live in Arkansas! :D

Just kidding, I really like these:

Red Wing boots
Merrell Chameleon Ventilator

Bates Enforcer Series for just about everything: school, dress, everyday use. Really comfortable and no blisters when worn for a long period of time.

Cole Haan with Nike Air soles - I rotate between one in mocassin stlye and one thats slip-on both comfy and yet in leather and 'formal' enough for office wear.

Until it gets too cold-Teva Teradactyls
then I switch to Danner Radicals
Work-Danner Acadias
Wet/hunting-LL Bean Maine hunting boots

Athletic - Nike, Vans
Casual - Timberland, Skechers, Hi-Tec
Dress - Cole-Haan, Kenneth Cole, Johnston & Murphy

I must be the only one bitten by the "slip-on" bug. Man, they are the best thing since sliced bread. The best pair I have found are not Merrells, but a $30 pair of Bass.

My favorite athletic shoes are Converse.
