One movie that I like, Demons (Italy, 1985), but oddly enough, the last time I watched it, it gave me a very weird, unpleasant feeling. I don't know why, but I haven't watched it since. I don't find it particularly scary or anything, but for some reason I felt oddly uncomfortable while watching it. Anyone else ever have an experience like that?

I forgot about that one:thumbup:"Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer" seems to still freak a fair number of people out.
Subliminals. Cannot prove it, but subliminals effect me the same way. Almost a dizzy queasy feeling. That's how I felt when I saw that film in the theater.
Subliminals do exist, but they are largely experimental and usually do not work as intended. I'm aware of several horror films that tried to incorporate subliminal images and audio in order to attempt to elicit anxiety or fear at certain points, perhaps in hope of better reviews as they typically did not stand on their own merits (as with Demons, which actually kinda sucked).
In no order......
Behind the Mask
Another addition; back in the 80's there was a show on Fox called Werewolf. I know I used to like it a lot. At one point I found the transfers to dvd on the auction site. It wasn't the best quality but better than nothing considering it hadn't been released (still hasn't despite a near release earlier this year and more than likely never will due to issues with music licensing), yet I was still excited to find it again.
After watching it all, the series wasn't what I remembered at all and can understand why it wasn't picked up for a second season. However, the 2 hour pilot was awesome and, for me, the transformations are the best I've seen when it comes to werewolves. Initially I hadn't included this because it was a TV show, but the pilot itself was 2 hours so in it gets tossed as another nomination.
Werewolf (TV)
I do remember that show! I watched it every Sunday(?) around early 1988 or so, for a few weeks. It was during a period I was back in the States from Taiwan for a period, and was preparing to go back there. I thought the series started well, but began to get worse. Kind of a werewolf version of the 1970s The Incredible Hulk series.
I would have included the recent Wolfman movie, except that I prefer my movie werewolves with the wolf-like, snouted features. I never really liked the werewolves that just looked like men with hairy makeup and fangs, or looking like Shih Tzu dogs. But otherwise, the new Wolfman was very good.
