Your favorite knife brand

Don't lock me down to one choice! sheesh. " Which of all your children is your favorite?"......... like that! I will list my fave brands and if you think Im a shit, then oh well.
Esee, Becker knife and Tool, Ka-Bar, and Ontario for fixed. Folders: Benchmade, Cold Steel ( yeah I said cold steel ), Emerson ( except for their dippy grinds ) Spyderco ( my fave spyderco is the Native hands down. ) Happy hunting.

Spyderco, Benchmade, Kershaw, Buck, ES EE, Chris Reeve, Case, Bark River, GEC, SAK, Boker, Ka-Bar, etc.......

personally have no preference just out for something useful. look around and try different things...youll find something you like

Buck, Mora, Victorinox, Ka Bar & like for ESEE knives, but dislike the blind coolaid ESEE following types

Busse, Scrapyard Swamprat, CS has a lot of fun stuff (I have a lot of knives from them over the years, including hawks, axes, throwers etc).

What is your price range? That might help narrow it down. Folders or fixed?

I recommend Spyderco for the best edge geometry I've seen on production knives and Kershaw for some of their handsome designs (Ken Onion's contributions especially) and value. I don't especially like Benchmade overall (too expensive for what you get, inconsistent factory edges), but I absolutely love my 943 Osborne.

My favorites are made by Case, SOG (Yes, I said SOG), Queen, Spyderco, and Victorinox. I am warming up to Condor, ESEE, and Kabar blades. I love a good slip joint with a strong spring and good steel. It just has to snap closed or I pretty much put it down.

Bechmade, Ontario, Cold Steel and Microtech.

Although most Microtechs are OTF, you probably won't be able to legally carry them.
