Your favorite "small" folder?

Own and would highly recommend Spyderco for this price range.

I have:
Spyderco Dragonfly
Spyderco Leafstorm
Spyderco Cricket

All phenomenal at this size and relatively affordable at that.

My favorite is my Axis Mouse. It's out having a blade regrind right now.

Here it is next to a Tim Wegner Blade-Tech Mouse 2 with Carbon Fiber scales.

I've been getting into folders and fixed with 3' and under blades lately.

Two of my favorites as of late are Cold Steel Mini American Lawman and Boker- Krein Pocket Bowie , respectively.

I also agree that the boker subcom is a great small knife for the money. I think the small knife I carry most is my sak farmer, although I don't know if this fits your definition of a small knife.

My favorite 'small' folder is the Spyderco SS Cricket SE. Full stainless steel handle, solid little framelock and SpyderEdged VG10 steel.....although my Para 2 is my main EDC, this little bug is always on my person whether at work, out and about, or at home.

I work at a Federal building where I can't carry anything beyond 2.5 inches and my solution to that problem is the Spyderco Ambitious. It comes super sharp, you can get a nice grip (really good jimping) and my favorite thing about it is the cost. If you go to cutleryshoppe.com and use code "nutnfancy" you get free shipping and the whole transaction is less than $25. I have some really pricy knives but I like my EDC to be on the cheaper side so I don't have to feel bad using it for tasks that can scratch the blade or get residue on the knife. I have been really happy with this knife and impressed with how tough it is for such a small package. Hope that helps.

The Benchmade 556 Mini-Griptilian makes for a nie, small, carry knife. Blade is approximately 2 7/8" long. I've been carrying this one for the last week.

Case Chestnut Bone CV Peanut. Perfect size small folder. For more modern styles, a Kershaw Chive was my EDC for 5 years or so, was the first nice knife I ever owned. BIt heavy for its size, but very useful bladeshape.
plus one on the chive, it was my EDC for 2 years, but now carry FFG Delica 4.

My favorite "pigmy class" knife is the Spyderco Balance. It's like a Khukri for militant rabbits and cats. Going slightly bigger, it's tough to beat my Strider PT.

I was carrying the Caly 3 Carbon Fiber ZDP189, but don't want to mess it up at work. I work on cars...so grease and other fluids= no bueno!

Best descrition yet of the Balance -- LOL!

Waiting to receive a Buck Vantage Select (small size). Hoping that it will become my "favorite small folder". I like my Cricket, Dragnfly, and several small slipjoints, but the Vantage seems to combine my favorite attributes of the other knives into one knife.

victorinox 74mm ambassador or executive... or any 84mm models like sportsman or small tinker would do.

Spyderco Dragonfly. It's a bit smaller than your target 2.5" blade length, but an outstanding knife overall. Comes with G-10, FRN, or stainless handles, great VG-10 or ZDP-189 blade steel, well-designed (as long as you don't have huge hands and like finger choils), and the wire pocket clip on the G-10 and FRN versions is my favorite clip among all my knives.

Used to be an original Delica 1/2 serrated. Then switched out a CRKT Lightfoot Urban Shark until it got lost in a move. Now a CRKT Heiho.

 I love mine.

It's funny how some of the "small" folders shown in this thread are bigger than most of the large knives I tend to carry.

My current fave in the lilliputian catagory is this tiny 2-5/8" closed Ohta stag teardrop slipjoint. (and the even smaller Vic Classic is hard to beat in the bang-for-the-buck department).
