Your favorite tomahawk?

My favorite is the "Iroquois" model from http://www.ragweedforge.com/ThrowingCatalog.html

A tomahawk is a lot like a golf club, it gets its power from head speed rather than brute force applied to the haft. A light tomahawk often cuts better than a heavy one, because you can swing it faster, and because you don't have to "muscle" it you can get cleaner cuts.

For throwing I like a heavier hawk, it dampens the little twitches and is more accurate for me.

At least that's my 2p, worth what you paid for it or a little less.

I'm really fond of this H&B Forge GOShawk. It's a big one with a 21" handle so it can be used 2 hands easily. I'm on the hunt for a smaller, lighter hawk, now.

Yeah, H&B really has a nice line of hawks in terms of weight, form, and price. The goshawk looks like a fancier version of their camp axe. For a lighter option, I am really looking at their Boy's throwing hawk. Maybe the small camp axe or lady hawk might be interesting, they are 1 lb. total.

I have about a dozen hawks kicking around, but I really, REALLY like my American Tomahawk Model 2. More practical (for me) than the Vietnam style of the Modle 1, and it really seems to punch above its weight when I have put it to work.

Probably my 2Hawks Longhunter. It's fast with a squared back end for hard thumps. It's terrible for chores though lol.

I also have the 2Hawks competition and SOG throwing hawks that I like to bring glamping.

E: Probably should not be rude and put some photos up.
