For me its a OHSAK Trekker (with some mods) and the Siegle "no name" Bowie (Blank, maybe).

If I am not mistaken that's one he made himself.

He makes nice sheaths by the way. I have a few of them myself:thumbup:

Very quick and reasonable too!

Here's one Fiddleback made for me out of Kydex. I had him make it ride high so you could get in a truck and not jam it in your back and also square so it could be worn as a neck knife.

That last pic cracks me up.

Normark, don't laugh at my kydex work now. I'm not a pro like you. ;-)

I really like that set up (the leather) who made it?

Sorry bro, yes, I made it. Its one of the early ones with a firesteel loop. I've upgraded the design since then. The firesteel handle is now totaly out of the way.

edited: BTW, I no longer sell sheaths, so I'm not trying to sell these.

That's too bad, you do nice work..

Thanks Mike. Its time to make some knives though. I got an anvil last month. When I'm done with the current sheath orders I'll be pounding out blades.

I am ashamed to post any pics, yall have some truly beautiful, functional tools, Hollowdweller that knife/sheath combo is pretty close to my idea of perfect as I have seen. Here is my 20 something year old Old Timer that gets the lions share of woods trips and is a permanent fixture in my pack.

My favorite two knives to use are my custom puukko and my kuhkuri. However the Mora sees a lot of use because I taped it to my kuhkuri sheath. Doesn't really add any noticable weight or bulk and takes care of all my winter knife needs in one easy to grab setup.

Here are my 3 puukkos. From top to bottom, a Wood Jewel puukko from Ragweed Forge, a Brusletto knife (Unknown model) and a custom puukko from Finland. For reference, the wood jewel has a blade length of 3 5/8 inches.

Often times I'll just take one of these three and leave the kuhkuri at home so I don't have so much weight at my side, but the advantage it gives me in making fires and shelters quickly means it still gets carried at least half the time. In the warmer seasons I might carry one of the puukkos, but usually just carry a light folder like a SAK or Opinel if the weather is fair.

I don't think you have any reason to be ashamed of you choice for a belt knife. You odiously found what works for you, and thats all that matters really.

My two would be one of these:

Paired with one of these:

I would ad my GB SFA to that however.

Tarmix, is that the model 1260 Mora on the top? I've thought about getting one of those from Ragnar next time I send him some money. Any thoughts on how it preforms?

It is. I bought it to stick in my PSK. It is fantastic for wood carving. The thin, low profile blade slices through pine, and dog wood like butter. I wouldn't want it as my main belt/neck knife, but it's a nice to have for whittling and fine woodwork.
