Your First Ever CRK? Post Pics Please!

This is another of my favorite threads .... and I realized I had not contributed to it! Go figure! Anyway, this is the knife that got me firmly aboard the CRK bandwagon ... a large 21 "Straight Ahead" CGG model, purchased May 5th, 2012. Now, 27 CRKs later (16 Sebenzas and 11 Mnandis) .... I find myself hopelessly addicted:

My first ever CRK was a One Piece Knife, Shadow III. At the time, I had never spent more than say $60 on a knife, but at the time, it was the cheapest CRK at like $180, so I broke down and bought one. I have been hooked ever since. My second was a Tanto I shortly after. Its been one after another ever since..........LOL. And YES, I still have both...........lol.
 
My very first CRK was a Small Sebenza Insingo (top) and my most recent CRK, which arrived yesterday, is a Small CF Sebenza (bottom) :)

I ended up with a small Seb Insingo from LW. I traded it far too soon back to her. I appreciated the Sebenza feel and finish after it was too late.

I have a CF Large Seb due in tomorrow. It's my first new and I hope my main blade for years to come.
 
It took me twenty years to get my first Sebenza, a small 21 I got in trade for a Swamp Rat Chopweiler.

I am absolutely in love with it, as much, if not more than the day I brought it home.
I recently added my second, a Small CF Sebenza 21.
Now I need to get the money and get a Small Insingo.
I really want one in Damascus too.
And a Night Sky Graphic Large...

The list goes on.

hmmm, missed this thread somehow.

My first was this large classic ironwood. It was rebladed due to a funky lock, then I sold it. A few others have taken its place, but I certainly remember it fondly.

My first and only Sebenza, yet :cool:. Custom "De Wit" green micarta inlays. Also shown are the Mammoth Ivory inlays that could replace the micarta ones.
Bought it on 22 dec. 2011.

Finally joined the cult today. Went to my local blade shop for the first time just hoping to fondle and talk for a while, and lo and behold, a large 21 insingo was sitting in the case. I've never held a CRK before, so after I got my hands on it I just couldn't let it go.

I've always thought I would get the regular drop point as my first, never really considered the insingo. It grew on me after I saw it, plus the fact it was the only one left. That said, I can't be happier. I can't stop staring at it!
