Your first fixed blade do you still have it? Pictures please!

When I was maybe six years old, My grandfather gave me a case fixed blade. My mother quickly confiscated it and stuck it in a cupboard. I used to sneak it away when she was out. When she had enough, it disappeared never to be seen again.
My grandfather passed about five years ago. This year, at Christmas, my 87 year old grandmother slipped me a $50 bill and said, "Get yourself something your grandfather would want you to have."
I replaced that knife.

I haven't really used it, but it is so much fun just to hold. I feel like my Mom is going to burst in and take it away. I've got it razor sharp and ready to go. Going to put in my fishing pack this spring. Should get some good use out of it.

Is the F66 model number stamped onto the pile side ricasso or into the guard? I have collected Western knives (among other things) for years. I'm always trying to pin down stamp changes and every data point helps.

Slow to answer your question, but just in from a trip. The F66 is stamped into the guard, on the part just below the tang stamp on the blade. OH

First fixed blade bought with my own money. Picked up at an auction in the mid 80s.
