Mine was an Endura given to me for a Christmas present. I had seen an all steel Worker in the pocket of a training buddy at the Gracie Academy in Los Angeles. He was a paramedic, and said that the knife was sharp enough to cut through seatbelts. I thought...oohh, I NEED one of those! After countless visits to the knife shop in Cerritos Mall, and countless begging to my wife, I finally got it.

I STILL have it, and yes...it's still SHARP!!

My first Spydie was a CoPilot plain edge, that I purchased from the Cutlery Shoppe in Idaho. It is still in excellent shape and shaving sharp. This is the only stainless steel Spyderco knife that I have ever seen that has brass bolsters.

Mine was also an Endura. One with the G-2 steel, and slightly improved clip. I just broke the clip on the last Friday the 13 we had. Last month I think?? Now I have a lanyard on it, but its not the same.

I need to send it in to get it fixed, but I can't go without it for that long.

Mine was a SS Endura full serrated, which I still use often at work.

My first Spyderco is a stainless(the only kind back then) worker with a serrated edge I bought at the Oregon state fair 11 or 12 years ago. Yes I still have it, and yes I still carry it, although my new Calypso jr. is finding it's way into my pocket from time to time.

Actually my first 2 came Saturday. I bought a production and the BF Native plain edge NIB at the same time. The first thing I did was to put the clips on the other side. I'm left handed. Both nice knives. I like the BF one better.

Nakano 2,
That's right, I didn't believe it myself. I have not seen any other stainless steel Spydercos with brass bolsters. I have no idea how many knives of this construction were made.

Mine were the Large Wegner model with the N.T.I. etched on the blade. The very next day the Wegner Jr. was draining my wallet and sitting in my pocket.

My first Spyderco was a "Q" with hk on the blade. It is still my favorite knife!

Dragonfly with hollow ground G2 blade, bought it in early -96, still wearing it daily.

My first Spyderco was a plain Delica back in 1995. I had seen a Spyderco in Tommie Lee Jones movie and i knew that I had to have one. Once I did, it was not long before I bought both plain and serrated Delicas and Enduras plus a rescue. I gave up collecting Case and Queen Steel, and became a Spyderco man!

my first spyderco was a new style endura. when i got it i did not like it very much.

then i got a delica 98. that i liked, and is with me now. in israel i picked up 2 more spydes, a harpy and a military. the military had problems and is now a starmate in my waistband.

GO SPYDERCO!!!

Stainless handled Dragonfly. Bought it 2 weeks ago and carried it everyday since. Now contemplating my next Spydie. I have questions and want advice. I guess I'll start a thread concerning my topics.

SS Worker - Purchased in '87 or '88 - Still got it; carried it for years; it is now semi-retired because I got so many others to choose from: Still you never forget your first love.

bladed serrated endura.

An all stainless Mariner, bought at a sport fishing show in I think '83 or so. Wish I'd kept it, but I gave it to a good friend a couple of years ago, I think he's getting good use from it, as I did for many years.

SS SpyderEdge Police. Bought it about 10 years ago. Lost it in a house-burglary.

Old style Endura in G-2 with a Serrated blade. Traded it shortly after I got it for an old style With plain edge. Still have it. It's retired now, but I still break it out now and again. Lotta good memories associated with that knife!

First spydie was a S.S. Dragonfly. Even after all my other knife purchases since then, it is still a favorite of mine.
