Here is mine next to a Buck 110. Not really good for anything but a saleman gave it to me and I never turn down a knife

That's pretty big allright. I dare say that a belt sheath may be required. :)

My largest knife is a Chicago Cutlery Folding Hunter with a liner lock. I believe the edge is about 3 7/8" or so. I have two rough rider "Grand-Daddy" barlows on the way though and I believe they have a 4 1/8" blade.

Biggest NON-traditional is my Cold Steel Recon 1 with a 4" blade

My biggest is a Cold Steel Ti-Lite with a 6" blade. I know it's not a traditional. It's practically a mini sword.

Here are some of my big ones

Mine is a cold steel spartan

I think he's talking about something more along traditional lines.

My largest traditional isn't very big, but it's a Remington Bullet Tracker. It's a '90 lock-back that's 4.5" closed & the blade measures a tad over 3 3/8".

I got it from a friend here on BFs & the Traditional section (Thank you Jason).

I have a segment of my collection that's reserved for BIG folders.....got to have at least a 5" blade or longer to 'be in the club'......these are all 5"-7" blades.

Here is a red bone Schrade 34 Old Timer with a Carl Schliepper which measures out at exactly 5 1/2 inches soaking wet.

This is my second biggest knife. I believe it is Italian (just a guess), and nicely made. It has wood handles, and is missing 1/4-5/16" from the tip. Seven inches closed;

Soon, Campbell, soon!!:D

I think this is the one that Campbell was referring to.
It is part of a Tympanic-Snipe hunting kit, and is about 13" closed.
You tap the drumsticks together, in a paradiddle pattern, and when the T-Snipes come tap dancing out of their subterranean nests, you whack off their heads!!!
They are so happy when they meet their maker, it makes the meat taste great!!:D
Lee Grogan sent me the camouflage. It works so well the T-snipes often ask me to dance before they realize what's up!!:p

Traditional Folders folks (as appropriate to this sub-forum)...thank you...

(The modern knives are wonderful and I have quite a few myself but this is not the venue...)

This is the largest traditional I have. An Eye-brand hunter that measures 5 1/2 inches closed.

I thought my Weidmannsheil Lockback at near 5" and the Schatt&Morgan English Jack(with giant main Sheepfoot) at 4.5" were big, but they're pygmies compared with the others here:eek:

This is sobering indeed, bit like looking at the Ron Jeremy of knives:D

Charlie, that Italian knife is really interesting, kind of folding Dirk. Looks very old too, thanks for showing that:thumbup:

Regards, W
