  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Your least favorite knife?

My least favorite knife?

...The one that cuts me for no reason, or the ones that can't cut me because they won't hold an edge long enough to cut me.

...And any knife made in Pakistan or China.

The Cold Steel Peacekeeper. It's a good knife for the money, but I can't get over how ugly it is. I'm selling it and using the money to help me buy the Tai Pan.

Well, since we're making waves, I'll splash some too. As new lock types come and go, in the end the lock back will reign supreme.

Any knife with a combo edge. I like plain edge and I think full serrated knives do great for rope work but to me the combo edge is horrible at any task and a pain to resharpen.

My least favourite knife is a BM330 in combo edge. The small blade makes the plain and serrated sections real tiny and practically useless for anything. Lousy thick edge that won't cut, a lock that engages only halfway, and a sharp-edged frame. I've been using it in the office as a letter opener, but it sucks at that too.

Incidently, the Lile knives made after Jimmy died are marked with a dot over the name. I do agree that they are too expensive, but people keep buying them, so the price is not going to go down.
