18 years before I busted the clip...collecting dust til I send to Spyderco for refresh/repair..

There are clips you can buy and just swap out. Great knife, shame to see it idle.

This is one of my longer-running EDC knives. Bought it for myself as a graduation present when I left college in 2004.

Emerson CQC-7B, non-waved, black blade.

If I'm not mistaken, Spyderco will send you a replacement clip, if you write/call the warranty department.
(Or maybe I'm thinking of a different company... Worth a shot, anyway, IMO.)
Otherwise, I'd be willing to bet you can find an OEM clip with a little Google-ing. At the very least, plenty of aftermarket options exist that are pretty close to the original. Or you could even find one that you like better than the factory clip, like a "deep carry" type for example.
