Wife & kids just got me an RC4 PE tan, today for my birthday!
I feel as if it were made for my hands. What a great knife. I hope to put it to use tomorrow bow hunting! Joy!!!
Placed an order for a black BM710 and a Sharpmaker. Been meaning to pick up both of them for a while and my electric bill was a fraction of its usual, thanks to the lack of Texas heat... So I paid a visit to the Pharmacy.
Today I received a well-used Military (opens way smoother than the other I have) and from knivesshipfree a Queen #64 Canoe . Yesterday a Schrade LB7 USA from ebay. That should satisfy the craving for a couple of days.
I actually found a Buck 119 while out bowhunting today. It isn't in the best of shape, and it is as dull as a butter knife. I am going to see if I can get it back to working condition.
My dad got me started a few decades ago (over 4). For a while now I try to give him one or two knives a year (Father's day, birthday, Christmas or sometimes out of the blue.)
Dec. 29th was his birthday and he got this very nice desk knife made by Dan Graves. I think it is only the 2nd fixed blade I have given him. All the rest have been folders.
A few have come my way over the last couple of weeks..... my Pohan Leu neck knife, a Koster K-2 karda, and very soon an Eagle Scout fixed blade from Eddie White, shadowknives, here on the forum.
I have had 4 come in lately; 2 Terzuola's, a Scott Cook Owyhee (no pix yet), a Todd Begg Gents Glimpse, and a GTC Prisma. I have not been able to take my own pix; so I have pix from GTC, RNST (the Damascus Terzuola.), Bob Neal (The Cocobola Terzuola) and Neil of TNK (Todd Begg Glimpse.) Thanks for looking!
