How do you like the Bump?

Craftsmanship wise, mine is OK. But mine opens a bit lazy and I find the lock awkward.

It's not as fast as my speed bump but it'll do. The scales on this Spec are my FAVORITE EVER! I wish there were replacement scales like this for my ZT0350. As nice as the spec is,I can't put down the Packrat. It has one of the best sounding THWAX! when ypu pop it open.

One more thing about the lock,when I'm ready to close I use two hands,if I have to use only one hand I close it against the back of my leg.

Last Wednesday saw my new Kershaw Ti/SG-2 JYDII arrive. Super sharp - lite weigh version of my 1725CB JYDIIs with their CPMD2 edges - and a bit sharper than them. Actually, my sharpest-ever knife. Smooth opening - effective flipper - breaking in still - close to flipping open.

The next day was miserable for me - many perturbations - I stopped by the 'pusher's' - and left with another 'fix' - that BM 610 RUKUS I wanted! Of course, my state tax refund arrived the next day, so it's paid for... thank goodness! It's a keeper!

. No offense, but chances are the knives you got are of a very, very low quality. Do a little research on these forums if you're so inclined and you can find out why and what to get instead. The throwing knives may not need to be able to keep a great edge, but the hunting knife will need better performance. Let me guess, did you order those from the shop at home knife tv show?

But if you're happy with them, then more power to you. Please don't let me discourage you. This is just my opinion.

Oh I know they're of fairly low quality, but for the price I expected that, got em off a website. They're still pointy and shiny, though, and that's pretty much what does it for me.

I caved in bought a SG1 Ti Junkyard Dog. Once I replace the clip it'll be put into regular rotation. If there wasn't so many sheeple out there and I didn't like STR's lowride clips so much I'd probably just carry it as is.
