I'd post a pic if my camera had batteries...
I just got my SYK Scrapper 5, mud colored. Freakin awesome.
The brown coating is like.... wrinkly. The handle material is a lot better than kraton for a hard use knife i would imagine.

Now to wait for the next syk to come out...

I picked up another Emerson CQC-7 today, uncoated stonewashed finish sold itself.

I have to make another trip down to Kentucky sometime, 1sks had so many nice blades, I'm sure some would like to follow me home.

My most recent purchase is a BHK patch knife and Bushcrafter. I was worried that the low hardness saw steel would make the edge retention suffer, but after have used it I think this is my new favorite steel. Its edge holding is as good or better than the majority of my other knives (the only reason its not the best is due to the low wear resistance, but really you never wear an edge dull but chip and blunt it dull unless you work with alot of carpet). And as for sharpening I carry/use only a hard arkansas stone and MAYBE a loaded strop, I have been carrying a diamond stone for a long time just because its so much faster but that's not an issue with these knives. All in all I'd give this baby a 10/10!

what's the last knife you bought?

I bought two knives, a Spyderco Tenacious for $33, and a Benchmade Vex at $39.

I love the Tenacious. Compared to it, the Vex is a homely, chunky knife. Tenacious is easier to flick open both because of the position of the thumbhole being higher on the wide blade, and it's a smoother opening knife.

Both knives were almost identical in size. The Spydie is lighter, thinner, has a much wider blade, and it is a great looking knife as well. It could be the best value EDC/Tac out there, in my opinion.

I was very close to buying a Sage Carbon Fiber for $97 which I'm sure is a great knife. Maybe that'll be the next one!

My most recent purchase was a Spyderco Tenacious. I got a free Spyderco Bug included in the deal. 34 bucks shipped I thinik.

Just ordered a Rough Rider slip joint. I know they're China crap but a lot of guys say that for the money they're nice knives. It was $5.50 shipped, so if it sucks, at least I can practice sharpening with something cheap

I think they're sweet lil' knifes. I love mine ;)

My recent purchase was a Buck Kalinga :)

A Laguiole from the Saturday market in Limouex in the South of France
