Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

I got this little guy in the mail today. 2006 BladeForums knife made by Canal Street — the first annual BF traditional forum knife!

This is actually the first ring turn knife that I’ve ever owned, so that alone makes it an interesting addition for me. It’s also the only Canal Street knife that I currently have (though I have owned one or two in the past).

I found a list of the original owners of these knives and their serial numbers in this post, and it looks like this one, No. 44, used to belong to none other than waynorth waynorth Charlie! (Charlie’s name appears a couple times on that list, so I’m guessing this was an extra that he had, which was gifted, sold or traded to someone else at some point.)

Anyways, I’m happy to own this cool little piece of BladeForums history.

Wow! Nice pickup, Barrett! I wasn't smart enough to get one of those in 2006. I think I was spending most of my time in the custom forum.......

Gerber Sportsman III. Snagged it for 40€. Cleaned the partially green patina from bolsters, cleaned the smudged blade, oiled the slabs and lubed the joints and besides few dents it seems to be in almost unused condition. The sheath is unused too besides slight patina on it. Gave the knife a nice edge after that.
I think I stole this one. Very well finished and solid knife!

My two new OKC 125th anniversary knives arrived yesterday. A little wet stretching made the brown sheath work quite well. I ordered River's last such sheath for the other Seneca. I think the big flapped holster was overkill for the Buck 119, never mind the lighter Seneca. So I'll have the flapped holster extra.

My mother found this book for sale, thought I should have it, and mailed it to me. She’s pretty great. I’ll give it a flip through when I’m not exhausted.

Looks like an interesting find! Looking forward to any thoughts you may have about this one when you finally get a chance to check it out. Great to see the different models on the front cover. Levine mentions that the "Moose" pattern was also called a "Texas Jack" -- and it's neat to see an example of that on the cover, with the "Texas Jack" moniker etched right onto the main clip!

RoseCraft Nolichucky Vintage Green moss Bone. Perfect example flush at the half stop and when opened. About a perfect 7 pull centered blade flush pins and flush at the bolsters were the covers meet. I’m really blown away for the quality you’re getting at any price point. To be honest it’s crazy but makes me a little sad. Anyway I’ll just grab the knife and I’ll be smiling again :) Next one I can’t wait to open is the Stag ! But this Vintage Green Moss bone is beautiful!!

Ok well I shouldn't be suprised but I’m still blown away if that makes any sense 🤪
It’s all that the Vintage moss bone is except with beautiful deep grooved Stag 😳 Also the pins are all perfectly flush they even took the time to file them smooth even at different angles because of the characteristics of natural stag. Instead of yeah that’s good here ya go they made sure every pin was flush polished and looked good to the eye and in hand.
Speechless and these pictures because of the lighting do not do it justice. Big thanks TPK and RoseCraft blades for these beautiful knives that look hand picked. At least they are what I would of picked :)

Newest addition would be this 56. My first in the pattern and only second Che Chen Rosewood. Big fan of this wood, a little lightweight but the colours and tones of it never disappoint.
..
In fact, away go the 2 TC Barlows I’d been toting this morning this has a little more charm for me today

New Zulu from my friend Javi! This beauty features U.S. made vintage 1940s/1950s rag Micarta, a vintage linen Micarta sheild, Chad Nichols stainless Starfire damascus, and titanium hardware. It's one heck of a knife!!!
