Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

know I had both a 6OT and a 7OT when I was sent to St. Croix, USVI to assist getting the company's charter boat (72' over deck Irwin Ketch with 4 guest cabins aft & 2 crew quarters forward), ready for the scheduled millennium charter, in November, 1999.
I would love to hear some of your stories from that journey!

Lets just say the then "captain" made the "oops" of locating a reef with less water covering it than the boat required below the waterline, during a shakedown voyage on 12/25/99 (the charter was cancelled. fortunately we were able to arrange a different boat for the same rate. We used the $10K reservation fee we received to pay for the other boat. We didn't have to pay back the $10K received fot the charter plus an additional $10k in contract fines) ...

I got to spend 9 months in St. Croix instead of the one month expected (and lost the all expenses paid vacation to St. Thomas, BVI.) A new rudder, and minor fiberglass work on the hull was needed, one of two 300 gallon diesel tanks needed a crack repair, she got an unscheduled bottom job (Keel bright yellow, keel to water line bright red, rudder lower half yellow, rest bright red 😁👍)
I resided on the boat from 11/99 to 11/01, then for 3 to 8 months a year between 2001 to 2008, when I wasn't needed for duties in Idaho, or at the vacation rental in the Florida Keys. (Small ocean front place. Only12,500 (12 thousand 5 hundred) square foot) while in Tampa, then St. Pete, after the Tampa marina shut down in 2003 to make way for a condo complex that ended up going bankrupt before the construction was half finished. AFAIK it was never finished. The last time I went by the place in 2007 while going to the Tampa Walmart, it did not appear any work had been done on that condo project.

The company sold the boat in 2007, while it was still in Florida.
