Western L66.

According to Wikipedia, it was made in 1980, since the tang stamp has a "D" under the USA.
The blade is full, but has a couple scratches on one side. Not a big deal, since it will be a user, rather than a showpiece.
The guard, leather washers, spacers, and pommel are tight; no play whatsoever. :)

The sheath is in pretty good condition, only a couple broken stitches between two rivets, so it should be an easy fix. :)

Today I´ve got an nearly 40 years old Fight´n Rooster barlow. Very good condition, only the etching on the blade is a little faded out, but that doesn´t matter to me. And it´s really big, 3.82 inch closed.

Really nice one Dirk. The nail nick looks like a closed eye with lashes.

I would have bought that one, but you beat me to it. And of course i'm glad you did, because I don't need another knife.

Neatest one of those I think I've ever seen to be honest. Very cool that stag!
Need Scott, who needs a Lady Leg. Now want, that's another thing. I definitely wanted it. And SP thanks, it's my only Red Stag. Thanks guys.

Just bought a 23LEC in red stag. I'm excited. Hopefully I will have figured out how to post a picture by the time it arrives

I sorta went the opposite direction I intended to with my latest acquisition. I didn't think I'd really try the less expensive end of the scale, but I kept seeing knives that are cheap but pretty decent looking. I know a lot of guys on here talked about the quality of a Rough Rider but I didn't give it much thought. On a whim I ordered a Rams horn canoe and I am surprisingly impressed with it. The blades are pretty sharp and it feels pretty solid. The one thing I'd change, a couple of the brass pins stick up a bit more than I care for but realistically I can probably take care of that. It has a nice texture and feel to it. I actually like the blade profile on this better than my Case Canoe, it has more of a point that isn't as rounded as the Case. All in all, $13 to my door and there's not much to complain about.

Finally found one of these and at a price I could afford. What a great blade shape combination that sit so we'll in a long but slim frame. Carried and out good edges on it today.

Sharpened cleaned and oiled my grandpa's true every day carry Victorinox today at his birthday gathering.
