Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

These came in from JohnDF JohnDF today, very generous and thoughtful gifts. I appreciate the craftsmanship of the slip in hand and I've never held, let alone owned a Queen knife or any knife with stag covers. Turns out this is the knife I never knew I wanted until it arrived. Thank you John.

Sweet sbh06, you’ll love that slip and that’s a nice looking knife. Another fine example of the generosity of The Porch, way to go JohnDF JohnDF ! 😎👍

Rough Ryder custom shop kit Stockman....I swapped the whatever that ugly fake wood is scales for Osage Orange....I had to maje the new scales from the discarded end piece of a log that was in the bin....for 35aud I like how its turned out....might have a crack at another one....without daylight gaps...but for a first go on a multi bladed knife Im quite proud of it....cheers

as well you should be.... very nice looking. For being such a "plain" wood, osage can be pretty striking, and it ages so well.... so you disassembled the knife and "re-assembled in reverse order" on this one? Good job.

edit..... wait, I saw that this is a "kit".... I wasn't aware that RR sold kits for assembly. Looks like some new projects!

Just got a RoughRyder jumbo stockman, celestial blue. Thing is massive. Turned the Spey into a pen allowing access to the nick on the I guess it’s a sheepsfoot.
wow.... sowbelly stag goodness..... I wouldn't mind seeing more pics of that knife. I love sowbellies, and I've recently developed a "cravin" for stag... all boxes checked...
and of course the slip... standard JohnDF JohnDF quality, which is very good....

Just in: 62046 1/2 Case Humpback half whittler. Not one of Case's more common patterns. Tang is stamped Bradford Cutlery and has 7 dots and x's. I'm not sure when Case used the Bradford tang stamp. I need to investigate a little more. I think this is either a 2003 or 2013. Took a bunch of quick pics, but for some reason most of them came out unacceptably blurry. Too much coffee perhaps ☕:)
3.5" closed, two spring, amber bone. Just a note: Amber bone almost always looks better in person than in the pics and that's the case here. Two of the better pics:

EDIT: I've determined that its a 2013.

I do the same thing Jim. I should have two coming today in fact. Those two look pretty clean, did you get a good deal on them?
It was about a 2 for 1 price. One is mint, the other had some surface rust on the blades that cleaned up well enough. That one is wicked sharp and will be a good user. I gave one away recently to my buddies kid so I figured I’d better resupply:)

Yes hornetguy hornetguy ..they're good value...I made one a few years ago...a kind of Buck 110 lookalike....best if you have a decent vice...they come in pieces with blades, pins, liners, springs and scales...great fun....everything is pre drilled...but I had to ream this one a bit to get it all to fit...
Cheers
