How's the thickness of the handle compared to the Case?

A like-new Boker 492. I'm not a fan of the Delrin scales and will be replacing them with something else. Not sure exactly what I'm going to use, but this will be for a snowy day project sometime this winter, so I have time to decide. As I type this, it just started to snow, so maybe I have less time than I thought.

The Klaas blade is thinner.
