Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

I received this stunning Northwoods Ocoee Jack in the mail the other day. Another example of the extreme generosity of the porch and specifically Jon0385 Jon0385 . One day we were discussing his fantastic collection of Northwoods and the next thing I know he contacted me and told me he had acquired this beautiful knife and was sending it to me. I was stunned. It’s an Incredible knife from an incredible gentleman I’m proud to call a friend. I now have two beautiful Northwoods knives and I couldn’t be happier. The porch is truly a great place. I can’t thank you enough Jon. 😊👍View attachment 1765995

You’re welcome Todd. Sorry for not replying earlier. It’s been a busy day with 8 hours of it on the road. I hope you enjoy the knife!

The 66 harness jack below was recently acquired as part of a larger trade/buy with a very excellent Bladeforums member. It is now one of three knives I own that have a punch blade. The other two are a late 1800s Horseman’s knife made in London and a GEC 98 Texas cattle knife. I’m a big fan of Ebony and so was stoked this 66 fit the bill!

Now, I bet I can find anything one might need to know about punch blades and their evolution right here on this site. I’m going hunting. Love this place. Thank you Bladeforums!AF6E3C5D-82EA-4B0C-AFFE-B3A64A6B0B9F.jpegD2945FB7-8CCE-4284-A7F7-BFA3B24DA6F0.jpeg

Picked up this big Colonial this weekend. If dwarfs the "Granddaddy" Barlow. Can't remember ever seeing another, but it looks absolutely untouched. No marks anywhere, and the parkerizing is showing the signs of lack of oil. Very stiff to open made easier with a couple drops of lube. If anyone knows anything about this I'd appreciate the info. None of my books show anything.

I believe it is a pilots survival knife. The saw was to cut out of the cockpit if needed. At least thats what i was told by an old timer knife seller at a flea market. I REALLY wish i had bought it then. That looks great, usually the saw is broken off of them.

I think this is a WWII pilots survival knife.

Fresh off the mail truck:

‘91 Buck 501 in great shape. Needs a polish, but appears to be factory edge. Lock bar is a little sunk when blade is closed (kick might be a little worn or over filed) but lockup is solid and everything is perfectly flush when open.

Newer (‘20) Case pocket worn gunstock jack in peach seed jig antique bone. Superb fit, finish, and action on this one. Look, Ma, no gaps!

Bought these three USA made Craftsman branded knives from a fellow forum member. They are in better condition than described in the sale offering.

And this 111 from a different forum member as a gift for a friend. In addition to being a Gunsmoke nut, he sings and plays in a locally popular C&W band and this will fit right in when they perform.
