your next knife is going to be a........

Probably a small fixed, with a 3 inch blade. Still haven't found one I really like, maybe I'll have to ask Kevin Wilkins to make me one ... :D

I'm looking for a good, general purpose camp knife with a blade length of approximately 7" in high carbon steel.
 
Probably a 25-inch Himalayan Imports Siraputi khukuri or an equivalent length HI Kumar Kobra. These are great SD knives, they're well-crafted and are great collectibles. And they're excellent cutters! ;-)

I've got enough folders and regular fixed blades I'm stocking up on my khukuris now.

A Rick Hinderer Firetac! I can not wait until my Firetac arrives!!! And the a Darrell Ralph AXD NG; but that will be in 4-6 months.
 
2 knives, in fact; one's a fixed, the other a folder. The fixed blade is one I'm making myself, of 1095 carbon steel. It's got a blade of approx. 3.7", a handle about 3.75", and will have red G-10 scales and a black Gunkote coating. Or, maybe I'll give it a hand-rubbed, 600 grit finish. Choices, choices ;) It's designed to be an EDC fixed blade; I'm thinking the sheath will be a horizontal/vertical carry of kydex with a tek-lok. I can't wait 'til it's finished!

The folder is gonna be the new style Endura, with the FRN scales. I've never cared for the feel of this knife, due to the lack of steel liners and finger guard. However, the second I saw a picture of the new model, I fell in love :thumbup: So, I can't wait for those to come out!
 
I am waiting on two knives. One is from Matt Cucchiarra and the other is from Dwaine Carrillo. I should have both in about a month or so.
 
A Spyderco C-4 (Centofante IV) when it comes out. Love the Wharncliff blade, just gotta have that one.
