Your next new Buck!

i got my most desired knife already
and the one i would say was next but as said
that 110 fixed blade..
i never thought i would get on ...was not 100 % certen they existed..
jest shows trust your sources .... all of them!

Gord, that's what Cabela's has told me. Of course, I guess there's no guarantee they know what they're talking about.

I agree that any input on this from Buck would be helpful.

I just noted they are listed with a $10 price increase this year. That suggests the Rosey version is on-going. I'm just speculating of course. Time will tell. It is currently available in any case.

Here's my next new one. I actually already have it and always wanted one! What do you think? Good choice? :barf:

Not a big strider fan Plum, but thats as good as any I've seen. Glad you got something you always wanted:thumbup: With the amount of knives youve picked up in the last year and a half, your "always wanted" list must be really narrowed.:D Question is, now that you got it, how do you like it?

I'm thinking it will be an Ecolite 110 or a CSAR once I find them locally.

Almost bought an Ecolite Stockman this weekend at a show for $45 or so but since I'm not a Stockman fan and it was sealed so I couldn't see it I passed on it. Was a good looking knife in the conservation series.

I've been waiting for someone to call me on this one.

Man, it's as phony as a $3 bill! No way is it a real Buck. There's no numbers or stamps of any kind on this thing. Just the printed on Strider Buck emblem on the blade. ;)

My next, new, Buck knife came today. It's the new "baby vantage". I have one of the larger ones, but really like this new, smaller one.

Buck Vantage Select, right front pocket.

I just ordered my "next new Buck" about 15 minutes ago. A Cabela's Alaskan Guide Vanguard with the rubber handle. Oh, sure, I already have one in rosewood, but I love that knife. What can I say?

By the way, I was told they only have 20 of 'em left in stock. If you've always wanted one but just never got around to ordering one, now's the time.

I've had quite a flurry of new bucks recently. An older model 500, a vantage avid, paradigm avid, green eco 110, red eco 112, and awaiting the arrival of a red eco 110.

The Vantage Avid, brought me back home to Buck.Got a little Buck folder in 1961 my 1st knife. After that it was a 110 I carried for about 25 years until there was no steal left to sharpen on the blade.I have a Paradigm Avid on order(waiting for the dealer to get some). I have a feeling I'm gonna pull the trigger on a Paradigm Pro down the road! Sure am glad Buck came out with these new designs.

Oh,by the way just so you don't think I'm a complete idiot! In my last post I misspelled steel.(LOL) I'm on mountain time and I was on my way to work.I made the post ,strapped on my duty belt and on my drive to El Paso the light in my brain finally kicked on.Maybe it's just old age.I'm not a collector, just a guy that appreciates great knives. The only knife I own that may be a collector item is a Randall made# 1 from back in the day. All it does is collect dust.

Very nice! There is just something really nice about those brown Buck sheaths! I quite like them
compared to the black.
