your no1 knife

So far my No 1 has been my Spyderco Military because it has gone in my pocket 99% of the time that I have had it and the blade is awesome and handle is nice and large and overall an easy knife to work with.

I've got 36 Randalls (with 20 more in the pipeline), four Ruanas (three of them custom-made), and a pretty nice Gerber Mark II collection. None of them are my "No. 1 knife." Why? Because they're all illegal for me to carry on a daily basis. That little Gerber Freeman that I posted a photo of way back on page 2 is legal, and I never leave the house without it. That makes it "No. 1" every day of the week.

I have two spydercos. a military and an endura. IMHO, I'm way ahead of you, in spite of all your nice knives, you can only carry a little one. I can carry both all the time. :D

Peace brother!

I was going to mention about that little Gerber - Cabelas has it listed at 6.5 oz with a linerlock, flow-thru design and a "3.5" in blade??

How could it possibly weigh that much? Doesn't make sense to me. It's very nice looking though. :)

Oh, it most definitely does weigh that much. No pocket clip because of that, but it comes with a very well-made leather belt sheath. It's built like a frickin' tank.

And singularity35, I can carry whatever I want when I get out of town and head to the mountains, so it's not quite as bad as it sounds.

This one--'cause just handling it and looking at it makes me smile.

BM 940 in s30v here,

But I have been hearing a lot about the 710 in D2, and I only have one knife in non-stainless steel. Maybe I'll give D2 a shot in a nice AFCK or something...
