your no1 knife

My Grail Knife.

Busse NMFBM LE.

That thing is "knife art" - plz don't let us see you chopping with it on your videos!!

That's a zombie killer for sure - I'd keep it by my e-z chair in the summer time when all the doors & windows are open at night (we're very rural). I think it would scare a bad guy worse than my .357 mag which sits in my end table. ;)

4-way tie. big-acting knives you can actually carry easier than an anchor :p

Don't worry you won't, it's a safe queen. :D

I do not have a #1 ....yet :). Seriously. After $thousands invested, do not have one. And this is a problem, isn't it :D:D:D:D
Why? Because...we are all...you know what I mean :)

And BTW, where are all the Randall's Strider's Fehrman's etc? Where are all the cutoms??? :D

I've got 36 Randalls (with 20 more in the pipeline), four Ruanas (three of them custom-made), and a pretty nice Gerber Mark II collection. None of them are my "No. 1 knife." Why? Because they're all illegal for me to carry on a daily basis. That little Gerber Freeman that I posted a photo of way back on page 2 is legal, and I never leave the house without it. That makes it "No. 1" every day of the week.

Oh, it most definitely is that. People tend to "pooh-pooh" it because a lot of Gerbers are (admittedly) crap, but that's S30V steel, entirely made in the USA, heat-treated as well as the four Bos knives I own, and at $100, just about the best "bang for the buck" out there today.

I love the Freeman. Its just one great knife.
I think that for some people Gerber is not what it used to be once it became Fiskars division.

As long as we're doing knife pr0n, I just took this photo last week of my newest Ruana:

And these are all next in line to be handles for Randall knives:

If talking fixed I would say my rat cutlery rc3 for descent steel legality 3inch blade legal In most of my visited locations. Easy to sharpen strong full tang and has a good handle and sheath system. For a folder u would say my buck 110 for shear utility of design and strenth. I have an endura 4 that is lighter uses better steel but my buck is heftier and inspires more confidence as a stand Alone blade if my pack was lost

Very nice Ruana!
I like their hatchet too.

Oh, yes; I do too. Don't have one, though. I've got the little Gransfors Brux hunter's axe (I think they call it their "forest axe") instead. Not quite as pretty, but not quite as expensive either.
