As you can see the “Tree” is heavily worn from pocket carry, the brass liners are a little green and the “Tree Brand Made In Germany” Solingen carbon blades are pitted from cleaning trout but you can shave with the main clip point and sheepfoot blades and the spey is kept surgically sharp.

Here is my favorite knife to carry, Rough Rider Canoe next to my first knife a Victorinox Recruit. Truth be told the more and more I refine my taste in knives the more I am starting to think that Recruit is actually my perfect EDC.
