Your Opinions

I have seen this with other manufacturers with stonewashed blades, but they disclose that there might be grind marks visible which I’m perfectly fine with, I’ve had many hinderers but to be honest the last one i had was an xm 18 and I don’t know how to describe it but it didn’t feel like a quality knife, definitely not up to Hinderer quality. I have noticed over the last year or so that the assembly cards are by people who I haven’t been familiar with in the past and it seems like the people doing the tuning aren’t the same as a year or so ago so maybe the qc has went down?

Now that you mentioned the same grinding marks on some other brands, ZT jumps into my mind. I've seen or owned multiple ZTs with deeper grind lines on the blade, though usually it is just one deeper grind line.

On a cheap beater , I'd ignore it .

Brand new . $400 , it would go straight back to seller ASAP !
