So, how is it going? Any pics available? I believe, this is the first "new age" custom 110!

I am a little interested to see what gets charged to my credit card though, the invoice I received this morning still has the "messed up" price on it, not the corrected price, less the 15% discount.

The original charge for that amount was never process on my card, and Pete said when he called about the BG-42, that when it was redone it would be corrected, so hopefully it'll be right.
 
Still waiting here... a common act, it seems - my state income tax refund is MIA, too - and the Fed 'gift' won't be mailed until 7/4.

Does Pete M. email you guys when it is ready to be shipped - or call?

:cool:...My order was placed and confirmed on May 30 and l like I said earlier I haven't received any notice of shipment yet. It's only been 3 weeks though so I am actually surprised so many are getting shipping notices already. I hope their software has been "tweaked" to reflect the adjusted prices and the 15% discount they tossed out here for all who ordered by June 2nd...There could be another "group discussion" ahead if they haven't "tweaked" it yet...:eek:...:p

Well, my concerns were well founded, Buck hit my credit card this morning for the full "messed up" price, without the correction or the 15% bladeforums member discount.

All you that are getting "your order has shipped" emails might want to check your CC statements.

I left a message for someone to call me...... :mad:

I am hoping it gets worked out OK, I went back and checked Pete's email to me on 5/30 and it says:

When your knife is ready to ship I will take
off the 15% at that time. You will see a charge for the full amount followed by the credit. Thanks again!!


So maybe a credit will be made later????

Seems some things need to SERIOUSLY get organized in Post Falls!
 
:cool:...This sort of thing should have been taken care of PRIOR to having your CC charged. This isn't a NEW bit of promotional news. This is information that was given to us by BUCK themselves at the onset of our placing all the orders....Maybe they fergot already...:confused:

I hope they didnt forget about us... their customer service is always top notch, so I hope they dont have any issues here!
I was waiting for this one to arrive to possibly order a BG bladed one... So we'll see I guess!
 
PETE could not keep up if he worked 60 hrs a week ...
he is totaly swamped!
same with the repair shop.. swamped...
so our fav company has some issues ...
they know it and are working on them best they can..
things have been rough of late ... so ...
best i can say is ... all ya old timers remember the great service..
give em a short time and they will be right as rain again...
.. opps i forgot the mid west... dey dont need no mo rain for a few days..

All of this kinda makes me glad that I chalked off the 15% and didn't order one, kinda, sorta,,,maybe :o:rolleyes:
 
Well, I got an "your order has shipped notice" yesterday and it too did not reflect the 15% discount. When knife arrives I will see if invoice in box reflects the discount, if not I will call credit card company and see what was actually charged. I'll post here when it arrives and I retrieve final charge info.

I had called Buck after I placed order (within the time limit) and was told not to worry we'll take care of it. Sounds like another Buck cluster ****! Rhyme not intended.

:cool:...Hey Joe have ya heard anything about the discount credit that a lot of people were offered if they bought a custom before June 2nd?...I see a couple of guys have shipping notices and they've had the full amount charged to their CC...I'm one of the lucky ones...I haven't heard anything about my order at all yet...LMAO...:p
 
I put my order in before 12:00 pm on June 2nd I'm hoping when they charge my C/C Buck doesn't forget to give me the 15% discount. After everyones experience so far I wouldn't bet on it though.
