I pay my CC off every month, so I don't pay interest. :D

I am hoping to not have to dispute the charge, I'm willing at this point to give Buck a few days to resolve this. I'm going to try to contact them again today.
 
It really makes me sad to hear all this negative press about Buck. :(
This is not good for the company at all.
If they want to keep their customers from going elsewhere for knives then Buck had better get its act together fast!
It seems like a downward spiral every since they remade their website.

Contact Buck right away and let us all know how they respond.

Left a message about 30 minutes ago and just got a call back. They had the correct price figured up and said that the proper credit will be applied to my CC "in a few days".

So hopefully this is on the way to getting resolved!

I will be watching to see if it works out for you. I ordered on 6/2 but haven't heard anything about shipping as yet. I emailed Pete about the 15% when I ordered and he said it would be applied when it shipped. I guess we will see.
 
I love my 110 and get a kick every time I pull it out here in the world of "tacti-cool".

However, I am getting a bit worried about my CS order. Took a long time to hear anything back from them (Joe finally got involved after I emailed him which I hated to do). Hope it goes smoothly and I get billed correctly.

My first experience wasn't a good one with the CS shop and I really need/want this one to be a home-run so my faith in them can be restored.

Will wait and see for now.

With the damascus and stag lots of guys want to look at it. Plus, I had some filework done to it which really throws them off.

Some complain that it's to heavy which really surprises. However, with all the polymer out there now I guess it is a bit heavy to a layman. For me it feels right.
 
Ok.......here's the latest news.

Pete says some sheaths were mailed separately due to a computer glitch.

No knife in mail today. Pete said there might have been a delay in shipping because they don't get U.S. Mail pickup until they have a certain number of packages.

Pete also says that the 15 percent discount will be credited to my card in the next couple of days.

I assume they are very busy and all of this is still within the realm of good service as far as I'm concerned, especially considering the VERY quick production of a custom knife.

My main concern is that this knife will be drop-dead beautiful. That's what this is all about.

So.....I wait.
 
Nice to know all that:) Looking forward to getting my first CS100. The order was made on June,3, but still no news...

Soooo, cross-dressing is a requirement now for CS 110 ownership?? Or, for my continued BCCI membership?? Panties?? Me wife won't be real happy 'bout that!

You know, staring at my huge CS 110 collection - both of them - they are really nice! We are quite fortunate to get such service (... he said, in case Pete reads this...). Seriously - a custom knife for these prices is unheard of - and so fast. Yeah, I'm a brown-noser. And, their accounting was problematic last summer/autumn - I had to call several times to get them to charge me for the second half of my 'custom' collection.

No business advice from me for Buck - I ran a Jr. Achievement company into the ground when I was in HS - Johnson was Prez. More recently, after $3k/yr of real losses for 6+ years with my arts/arts & crafts show company (Turned wood bowls - pens - vases), that went belly-up, I gave myself a raise - and quit. It's cheaper sitting here buying knives... and enjoying my Teacher's Retirement checks. Maybe I need another Wally World 110... they are also 'top drawer' quality. Ta Ta!

News Flash.... News Flash!!

I just called Pete M. (5:29PM Central) - he answered on the second ring - good natured as always. He said they were catching up - had actually made a huge dent in the backlog - and they are working feverishly to get them out. Also, he said none of you guys would get your knives until I got mine, so phooey on you. Okay, I made that up... he said he'd probably get mine out by the weekend (He's safe - he didn't say which weekend!). He wanted me to tell any of you guys that I converse with that he thanks you for your patience - and your credit card numbers - and loves the new plasma TV - and... wait, I made that up, too. Really, he does thank you for your patience - and wants you to know that they are working feverishly to catch up. I told him they were worth the wait - he seemed appreciative. Remember - you can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar - whatever you want the stinking flies for. I'd just get a can of Raid and squirt the bug-gers... to heck with the sugar or vinegar. Oh, if you call him - be nice - or use Dave's name if you are irate - I did.

BTW, if you must - granny panties - not bikini's... definitely not a thong! Don't ask me how I know this...

Just an FYI my panties arent bunched and I aint mad at anyone, just nervous thats all.
I am in no rush for the CS 110. They should take their time
