I just got my instrument pilot rating in december - I've been spending a lot of time flying my RV-8, and flying cessnas with the civil air patrol. I enjoy motorcycling, although recently it's been more transportation than recreation. I'm trying to do more running and weight lifting, but time has been short. I spend gobs of time with computers - networking and phone systems, but that's more professional than recreational - but I enjoy it so much it's hard to distinguish. Bob W - I'm a huge linux fan - FOSS FTW!
I've got an H&K .40 that I'm embarrassed to admit how long it's been since it's I've fired, and would like to get a Kimber 1911 - since I seem to be WAY more accurate with it. I've got a CCW (in MN) and would carry, but I'm a civvy contractor on an army base (in IN) and 90% of my potential 'carry' time is to or from work, or traveling across non-carry states (IL, WI) so it hardly seems worth the effort.
I wish I could expand my spare time to encompass more of my interests (not to mention my spare change...) - I'd love to do more:
martial arts - since we seem to struggle so with the whole 'unarmed society' thing
photography - got a Nikon D40x last summer, and I'm still scratching my head as I shoot
camping - can't quite get the family revved up beyond the occasional afternoon hike, but I'm working on it
make my own music - I KNOW I can do better than pop radio, and the RIAA can kiss my fuzzy white a$$. (but it'll have to be instrumental - I don't see that singing thing working out for me any time soon).
and maybe some additional time with the family in there somewhere...
the RV (yeah, I'm proud of it...)
