Your other hobbies and interests

Airsoft is for those who like paintball...minus the awful jerzeys and with realistic guns. I have one just to harass the squirrels with (once you kill it all the fun stops :p)

Other than knives and knife related activities such as bush craft and knife making.

im into my martial arts quite allot, iv been doing one sort or another for about 20 years now.

Im a big fan of Honda, cars and bikes. I also collect chainsaws but thats more work related so maybe it doesnt count ?

Im well into snowboarding, been boarding for the last 16 years. I started skiing when i was 3 also but i dont talk about that now

Im into photography but its something iv only started to get into properly over the last couple of years so im still kind of getting to grips with it.

I do a fair bit of fishing, fresh and salt water, iv been doing that since i as a kid.

I enjoy sailing but that tends to be a bit off and on as i now travel allot with my work so my boat is sitting back home rotting most of the time !

I also have a large collection of rum.:)

Well the obvious part for me is Sideshow, mainly because I hope that this hobby will eventually go full time, and I could afford to go on the road, like the Jim Rose Circus, or The Brothers Grimm sideshow.

Magic, as with some of the escape work that I have been doing, I have also had to get into magic, so I can learn the old carnie street hustles, like the Three Card Monty and the Shell Game. Plus I need to put together some family friendly shows for more bookings.

Racing, I used to race Go-Peds and the Go-quad racing karts as well, then I started messing around on street luges.

Martial Arts

Those are the 3 tried and true that have been with me all through life. The following have played major though less permanent roles:
Coins
Motorcycles
Knives (real strong at present)
Computers
Camping
Academics

Gaming is my main hobby, I thought it was relatively cheap until I started buying actual arcade cabinets - then it wasn't such a cheap hobby anymore!

Lately I've been collecting knives - mainly Busse - and to be honest, that makes the arcade hobby seem pretty cheap!

Search and Rescue
EMT and Wilderness EMT
Ham Radio (General Class License)
Handguns, in particular big bore handgun and Combat shooting
Hiking and Camping

My main interests include:
Collecting knives
Collecting and shooting guns
Camping with the family
Collecting marbles

biking ... road biking 4-5k miles/yr
flyfishing/flytying
reading...primarily colonial north american history
children's sporting events
photography

Of course knives
Guns/shooting
C&R Guns is one of my fav
coin collecting
Metal detecting
hunting
fishing

Sea paddling, mountaineering, mountain biking, backpacking, human powered tavelling in the outdoors. I think of them as off-shoots of an active lifestyle more than hobbies, though. To this point, I consider knife collecting my only hobby.

Hockey: Actually trying to get back into shape to play for my college
Guns and hunting, been hunting since I was about 6.

Cars, I really like cars, doesnt matter what brand or anything, if it's fast or looks good I will like it. Used to own a 93 rx-7, currently thinking of buying a 87 Grand National. Two completely different cars, but both awesome in my mind. Cars are my biggest hobby by far, and also the most expensive. Often times I think about buying something, but then realize that would take away from the car fund.

I enjoy hiking, usually only when the weather's nice though. I tend to be a bit sensitive to colder temperatures.

I love to fish, though I'm embarrassed to admit I don't remember the last time I've gone.

I'm a bit of a retro gamer. I enjoy playing the new game systems, but their prices put them out of reach for me right now. Retro gaming is a bit cheaper, since I can buy most games for a fraction of what they cost new.

Reading..I particularly enjoy history books on pirates. It's one of those cases where the truth is more interesting than the fiction.

I'm not much of a knife collector anymore, as I only tend to keep the ones I'm going to use. I still have about 20 or so knives to get rid of, since all they do is sit in a box.
