Your sunglasses of choice

I retired my Serrengetti (1978) Avaitors

When I travel, I wear a 12 year old pair of Gargoyls. I've replaced the lens on these 4 times. When this pair wears out, I'm outta luck. Have to find something new.

My wife's jeep has my Bolle Snakeskins, 8 yrs old.

My Blazer has my Oakley X-metal Titanium, pretty much my every day wear (EDW?:)).

I wore Maui Jim Kapaluas (the Ti frame) but they never lasted very long with the failure always being in the same place. MJ typically replaced the lenses free the first time but not afterwards.

I have switched to Oakley Juliets. Heavier but I have gotten used to them.

I use Remington brand shooting glasses. I'm blind in my right eye so my specialist recommended I wear shop glasses when ever I'm outside. The Remington brand glasses have held up great and keep things from hitting my good eye. Have a pair of their Target Orange T-40s and the T-63. Most of the time I keep the grey lenses installed on the T-63.

I like Foster Grants, if I can get the right pair. Best pair of shades I ever had cost me $11 at Wal-Mart, and I have been unable to replace them completely. Oakley half-jackets are tempting, but I can't justify spendg that much on sunglasses, not by a long shot.

Glass lens, polarized, nylon frame, rubber pads on nose piece to help prevent slipping. Maui Jims Typhoon

Oakleys seem to be very popular, but after Ive lost my first pair, Ive switched to my the AO, like I said in the first post. I dont want to spend my knife money on sunglasses ;)

Oakley minutes for me, oakleys are the only sunglasses ive ever had that stay on my head, and sit straight on my face. Whats the skinny on this discount thing? How much is it off? I didnt know bout this, and just bought a new pair.... Might have to get another pair too!

Right now, my perscripted Gascan S's are at Oakley being "looked at". Somehow, they began sliding off of my face entirely. I'm not impressed with their "o-matter" frames. Looking into other makers now, but I'm entirely unimpressed with Wiley X. Rudy project is way tooooo expensive, Native X doesn't really have a pair that pleases me aesthetically, and the only other pair I really like is a pair of Oakley's (Spike) I can't get prescripted.

-All around favorite is ESS CDI with three lens colors- Amber Rose is my driving, shooting and dawn/dusk plus winter fav.
-For dressier occasions I go to my Rudy Project Tythans in blue chrome lenses
-General casual summer: Native Eyewear Tare in smoke green or Tortoise, depending.
-Bad Ass Biker wannabe look, I don either Gatorz Wraptor in Brushed Alu or Bobster Venom II
Without a doubt, the ability to quicklyt switch lenses and the choice of the amazing Amber Rose tint has made the ESS CDI's my all around favs.

Vintage B&L 62mm Ambermatic Shooters

These babies are awesome and remind me how great American-Made can truly be.

Cable temples, Gold filled frame and optically perfect color shifting lens (from bright yellow to dark brown or grey (when very cold))

Can't wear these enough :D

Serengettis are my choice after trying the other major brands. The driver's lens are great for fighting glare and sunlight flickering through trees, the vermillion lens is great for flat light.

I get all skate surf and snow stuff half price, so I wear the glasses they stock at the Skate Shop. Usually go polarized in the Von Zipper Papa G's or get a pair of Electrics...can't go wrong with either one, they fit the face well and are heavily constructed with some very nice lenses. A lot cheaper than designer shades too.

It is for military, LEO/ICE those types. Your discount depends on your organization. I think military get about the best. Look for there goverment sales website and fill out an online app. My perscrtion minutes cost me @ $170 shipped. They look alittle differnt than my wifes. They are all blacked out with almost no insignia. I love mine and can't wait to get another pair.

Well, night quite as tactical, but I'm a big fan of Prada aviators myself, have a few pairs in the EDC rotation.

These two are quite inseperable :)
