Your thoughts on pocket fixed-blade carry

I just wanted to report back that I purchased a Hartsook and Hunter's Scalpel from A.G. Russell today. Based on your suggestions in this thread, I wanted two smaller, inexpensive FB knives that I could practice carrying around. At 4.25" and 4.72" the Hartsook and Scalpel fit the bill. If I find I like pocket FB carry, I'll decide on a maker like Krein, Ingram or May and have them make me something up. At that point I'll also know what length I like, or maybe I'll know that I can comfortably go up in size and still carry in the front pocket of khaki-style pants.

Thanks for the input, references and pics. I'll report back after I get some time with these two. The saleslady at A.G. said it should take 10-12 business days to ship. Sounds like I've got some waiting to do.
 
Boker makes or made? a little knife called the Boker Corzo Caper Arbolito that is just 5 inches long that i always thought would make a nifty FB EDC, this thread is giving me ideas and stuff:D i need to get out
