• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Your top 5 CPKs, go!

Though I have more than 5 CPK models, I still am not sure if I have enough to have a top 5.

I'll give it a crack though:

1. Shiv - Sorry, not sorry. It's design perfection and I'm constantly surprised with all the tasks I can comfortably do with it. And I haven't even stabbed anything! Yet...
2. DEK3 - One of my most used CPKs. I know it may not have been solely designed to be a kitchen knife but I use it almost exclusively in my kitchen; it's such a pleasure to cut with.
3. SDFK/HDFK - It was a tossup between the HDFK and SDFK so they occupy the same spot. SDFK has a little more blade, a little more oomph but the HDFK was my very first CPK.
4. FK3 - There were some things missing on the BFK that the FK3 handled. It's the best belt knife that money can buy.
5. Kephart - Having had the rare opportunity to handle an original Kephart and having quite a collection of Kephart-inspired productions, Nathan's version is the very best modern iteration of this classic design. I am honored to have one in my collection and it deserves a spot in my top 5(6?).

All these great choices but no pics? :(

Fair point.
