Your Traditional Knife Christmas Wish List

Well I already got myself a vic recruit which I'm loving, but there is one knife that I discovered that I'd love to have.
My dad bought my grandmother a rough rider tiny trapper in black lip mop, and after checking it out and making sure it was sharp ...ect I fell in love with it.
My grandmother will absolutely love this as she loves small things, especially knives.
This thing is so tiny at only 2" closed, but it's actually a very sharp highly functional little knife with great fit & finish plus great walk & talk.
I really wish he would've ordered two of them, and I may have to go ahead and get myself one as they're a great deal at only 7$.
 
Last week a shipment of 9 knives I ordered over Thanksgiving weekend arrived. They will probably be my Christmas knives! :thumbup:;)
BUT, if I had been nice instead of naughty this year, and if I corresponded regular with old St. Nick, there ARE a few knives I'd list as possibilities in a letter to Santa. :D For example:
- a Vic Pioneer X or some vintage Alox
- my first Solingen Böker of some kind (maybe a Beer Barrel Canoe or Beer Barrel Whittler or a Congress Carver or a little Böker pen knife (240?) or a Barlow)
- a little War Eagle canoe from AG Russell
- an old jigged bone Buck canoe
- a melon tester
- a Rough Rider faux tortoise canoe
- a Case canoe (maybe amber bone CV, maybe something older or stainless)
Don't really expect them for Christmas, but eventually I expect to track most of these down! ;)

I'd love to see my TC and BRK Grizzly before Christmas. I think the TC will make it, but not the Grizzly.
 
My wish list would include a Tony Bose in 154CM. Not that that will happen, but a guy can wish... :)
 
There are many patterns and brands on mu wish list , but I will be Happy , Happy , Happy if I receive additional patterns of the Case Rogers Jigged Walnut Bone . I have 3 of the series of 8 .
The Case Gunstock in Checkered Bone
Any Northfield
Any Taylors Eye Witness
Any brand and any pattern with some very nice Stag
Any Old Cattaraugus
Any Old Barlow
Any Arno Bernard

My Case Canoe that should be here Early next week, will fill in my Traditional folder wish.

On the fixed side. I keep going back to the Case Twin Finn. There is just something about those piggybacked knives that interests me. I just like the concept.
 
this week has been kind to me. i found a GEC 72 in micarta on the exchange. then, i decided to put my christmas wish on the "wanted' page (the GEC 99 F&F). didn't expect any responses, as they are hard to come by. but, thanks to a gracious member, i will be having a merry christmas indeed. :thumbup:
