What's the knife that always seems to escape your grasp? The one that you know exist but never reaches your pocket/safe.

I want an Emerson cqc-7 or Commander Karambit and they are my unicorn.
I have never seen one up close nor do they come up for sale/trade often. When one pops up I'm late to the party or they reach prices I can't pay.

CRK Sebenza. I hate metal frames, but something seems to call me towards the Sebenza, yet I can never pull the trigger.

All summer I've been trying to get a Spyderco fluted titanium. Every time I get the money the stock is gone the day before. The one place I found in Stock PayPal rejected my payment for some stupid shipping address glitch.

Fallkniven F1, I have wanted one for years. Problem is my Mora does everything that I need it to. I am also concerned about the upkeep of a convex edge, I have no experience with them. I am not a collector and the F1 is a lot of money to spend on something that I don't "need".

I keep turning down the Spyderco Military and I'm not sure why.
Every time I'm broke I want one and when I have knife money I get something else.
Sane thing with Northwoods and GEC. I want a high end slip joint REALLY bad and never buy one.

For me, it's the Spyderco Stretch ZDP-189 with carbon fiber scales. Absolutely gorgeous knife with great ergos, but very hard to find in good condition for what I'd like to spend

they are impossible to find and now pretty much out of my price range

(I have 2 of the licensed version - 1 a user and 1 a queen - so I consider myself very lucky!)

Original straight handle Busse Battle Mistress. The stars just never align quite right on that one....

Microtech Socom Delta with a plain blade and no tanto grind! If you have one, please send me a PM.

Terzuola ATCF. They're out there, but I will never be financially well off enough to own one. Pity.

CRK Sebenza. I hate metal frames, but something seems to call me towards the Sebenza, yet I can never pull the trigger.

I love titanium-slab knives...as per the Sebenza, the Umnumzaan, the Spyderco Sage 2 and so forth. I truly prefer the feel of titanium slab folders.

ZT0777. I missed out when they were released and just haven't been able to pull the trigger on one after market.

Right now my unicorns are a couple of boot knives:

-Busse Bear Cub
-Hinderer Flashpoint

Graman dua. I'm on a titanium frame lock kick as of late. Every time I say I'm going to get one, I contact Jim at tsf for another beast.
Then when I check back on the site for a dua its sold out. Its on my short list.
