Your "unicorn"/ the one that exist just not for you knife

Just can't seem to get my hands on a Jeremy Robertson El Patron flipper with milled Ti handles. Unfortunately I've become very picky and it has to be a Gen 2, no Zirc, no Micarta. Missed one about a month ago by about an hour. Damn!
 
Spyderco K2 and Tatanka. They both rarely come up on the exchange, and I would rather not pay full price. Actually I don't think I have ever seen a Tatanka in the exchange. Another one is the Chinook. Hopefully they release a new one eventually like people have said.
 
My grail is an Emerson Super CQC-6, I won the lottery this year at Blade show but I missed the Super 6 by four people.......

I went through that too. But man, when I GOT it.....wow was it worth the wait. The day I got the email they were available again I cancelled a just-placed order for another Wayfarer so I could snatch the Dua.

Hang in there for it.

The thought of dropping that money on a knife instead of getting a sebenza (which I also don't have) AND a PM2 or three ZT's or a couple high end spydies...

I hope that some day I can finally take the gamble and drop the cash and pull the trigger!
 
For me the "unicorn" knife would be Rockstead GI-ZDP fixed blade... Don't see any possibility of ever holding one for the foreseeable future with my meager income...
 
I can't bring myself to buy a metal folder (scales or slab, whatever you might want to call it). But I have fixed blades without handles??
 
Not because of price, but because of scary looks, I make sure no one around me knows I have and carry this little beast...

BUT

I just got something equally cool! :D Grayman Dua in CPM 20CV. I had an older blacked-out DLC/carbon fiber model years ago, but had to sell it for funds. Then this pops up out of nowhere, right in time for my birthday. :)
 
A nice David Boye BDS Winged Prophet at a good price, at the same time when I'm in the position to buy one.

Whenever I see one I'm not position to pull the trigger, whenever I'm in the position to buy one, and I search, none are to be found and I wind up splurging on something(s) else.
