YourCornerstore.com - Good Experience

I know others have had mixed experiences with Michael and YourCornerStore.com so I thought I'd add my own experience to the mix.

09/08 - Ordered three production folders: Kershaw Blur OD (2 in stock), Ontario Rat Folder (10+ in stock) and SOG Aegis (10+ in stock).

09/09 - Kershaw on back order to 09/25 rest of knives being prepped for shipping.

09/10 - Kershaw Blur OD cancelled off order at my request and refund submitted to shopping cart company used by YCS.

09/12 - Ontario Rat Folder and SOG Aegis received.

09/14 - Refund received. Shopping Cart Company accidentally refunds me amount for entire order. Notified YCS to correct refund amount to only cover cancelled Kershaw knife.

So in the end, a week later and all knives received and refund processed. Their stock numbers appear to lag a bit, so if stock is low on something it may backorder, but being aware of that going in you can likely avoid a back order issue.

I had several email exchanges with Michael and he responded within a few hours each time.

All in all a good experience and I would buy from him again if something I was looking for was in good supply, but that is a qualifier for me wherever I shop online. I really hate backordering because I know from my days in computer distribution that supplier dates can change without notice. It's usually easier to do some more searching and find someone who has it in hand (like I did for the Kershaw Blur OD)

FYI... I had been giving some updates on this in an existing thread, but it was not really about a positive experience so I started a new thread to detail my experience. I may have sounded a bit skeptical or nervous in the other thread while I was in mid transaction because of some of the other feedback I had read, but my personal experience did not involve any negative issues really.
