i ordered 3 kubotons from yourcornerstore.com about a week and a half ago, the package came on thursday, 8 days ago.....with a spyderco tenacious and NO kubotons. well, i want to be honest, so i call em, no answer...leave a message on friday night. i finally get up with em on tuesday night, 4 nights ago, and they gave me a serious run around. not really a hard time, but i was talking to a woman, and seriously, she was making no sense in what she was saying. i made out something about contacting the warehouse, sending me a RA number, maybe that will work....hmmmm....now how did this happen, maybe ill just call you back.....clunk. she hung up, and i was more confused then ever. its now friday night, have not heard back from em, still have the tenacious i didnt order, and dont have the kubotons i did order, and still dont have a clue on what to do. how much time should i give em to fix THEIR mistake, till i stard EDC'ing the tenacious? i have done all i can to be honest, and im not sure how long to give em to corrent the mistake they made.

Wow!! That really stinks, dude! I've heard several bad things about ycs. So far I havn't had any problems with em'. I have a package on the way from them right now (due to arrive monday). I hope they send me the correct order! If I were you, I would continue to try to contact them and get everything sorted out - I would also ask for a discount or something!! Geez!! I totally understand that company personell can make mistakes, but ycs keeps randomly popping up as a "buyer beware" kind of comany... shame really, because they have great prices.

Wow, I reordered manix 2 on their website for my birth present, hope will receive the correct one.

I would call them monday and ask to speak with the owner or supervisor.

For now I would ask for this thread to be moved to the GBU. You can keep forum members updated, and they may see it and have it straight before you call.

That's unfortunate. I've ordered from them twice and both orders came swiftly and with the correct products.

Try E-mailing them. I have had better answers and service using E-mail than through playing "phone tag" with them. As far as the store is concerned, they have the best prices I can find and fast shipping in my experience. I enjoy doing business with them! I'm sure as their business grows they will be able to upgrade their systems and personnel to provide better customer service......eliminating these problems in the future...

That's funny, I received 2 kubatons and but not my Tenacious! ;) :p

Seriously though, hope it all works out for you and you get the stuff you ordered. They should let you keep the Tenacious for your troubles.

I've only ordered one thing from them - my Tenacious :p. I didn't get an email notice that my order was received, processed or shipped. I emailed them after about a week and they never replied. I finally did get my Tenacious a couple days later. I had better online shopping experiences with New Graham but I will give them another chance.

their prices are the best, no question, and i like being able to see whats in stock before i order. maybe its just a rare problem, and they will straighten it out. i will email em today, and try calling em again monday. will post what ever happens.

Man, I don't know what to tell you to do. I have had only one experience with them, and it was all good. Maybe, you caught someone having a bad day, or maybe just a blonde day. Call back, and talk to someone else. Give them one more chance and maybe they'll make it up to you.:D

My one transaction was stellar. I ordered a HL 14210S after hours on the 10th and it was delivered on the 15th. I'm definitely going to order from them again. Sorry to hear about your troubles though.

My guess is that you either talked to a new CS employee or an order entry person, possibly at an 3rd party company, that was flustered and had no idea what to do. Just hanging up whenever things are beyond them seems like a good idea to incompetent people at times.

Phone them back and be sure to catch the persons name, or ask for it and then ask to speak to a supervisor. The company deserves to know what happened and should be happy to correct the warehouse mistake.

a box showed up at my door with 3 kubotons and a prepaid return label....over a week after i talked to the person. terrible communication, but in the end i got what i ordered and they got their knife back. i would prob order from em again, due to all the positive experiances i have heard, and their prices are good.
