If I have a favorite it would be the JK Hiker, however I have different knives for different jobs and really don't have favorites as such. If i have a job to do and knife X gets it done, thats my favorite for now. When I head out hunting I am most apt to have the Mora 740 or SS Clipper.

My favorite and most used fixed blade is nothing special or fancy. Just your everyday typical bare bones get after user in the way of my old Air Force Pilots Survival knife made by Camillus.

I've owned a lot of nice fixed blades and they all look great but come and go. I go back to this inexpensive Camillus more often than not and find it just suits my needs perfectly in most all cases for anything I need a fixed blade for and that goes for anything from taking the head of a fish off to taking the head of snake off to cutting some tent stakes real quick while camping.


Second is my Bark River Micro Canadian which I find darn handy and very appealing to have on me even over my folders a lot of the time anymore.

2-A simple Puukko
3-Custom stag handle ATS-34 Loveless style drop point
4-Chris Reeves 1 piece
5-Custom Rapid River Knifeworks Fin and Feather with a whitetail tine handle.

PS TKC's pictures always make me jealous.
