Youtubers like Jim Skelton?

Cutlerylover is really the only knife guy I subscribe to anymore. He's remained consistent with good videos he hasn't gotten annoying or preachy he's added a bunch of different topics but I just don't watch the ones I'm not interested in.

Jim Skelton doesn't sharpen his knives nor does he know how to. That says enough for me. Gotta use em to review em. If you use em, you gotta sharpen them. If you don't sharpen, you can't review a knife for anything but looks. I want a knife for more than looks.

Really sorry to necropost, but I found this thread via google and had to share my love for a youtuber called Stefan Schmalhaus. The man does such an outstanding job reviewing his knives. Elegant, classy, and above average video production. They aren't usually the traditional Spyderco/benchmade flare that you often find in knife reviews. He reviews very European centric knives for boutique companies that would otherwise fly under my radar.

Couldn't agree more about Stefan Schmalhaus's videos. My only complaint with them is that afterwards, I'm always craving fancy sausages and cheeses!! [emoji39]

One of my other go-to knife Youtubers is TheApostleP. Probably because we share a passion for traditional pocket knives. He's pretty informative and entertaining. Now, If he could only refrain from clearing his throat every 20 seconds during his videos, I'd be very happy. [emoji6][emoji1303]

TheApostleP makes some good stuff, though it is probably routine for him to criticize factory edges. To say that he doesn't pull punches is an understatement. Even with some things he likes, he may roast a design point or material choice.

He is my favorite guy.
