You've just won the lottery...what's your first knife?

I would travel to Fayetteville AR where I would meet with Don Greenaway and have a discussion over a beverage that would include his making me a knife similar to the one in my Avatar.

I'd like the same ladder damascus blade material, meteorite bolsters, clip and backspacer and ask him to suggest some appropriate natural material for handle scales.

Ah, aren't fantasies great ?

This would be a nice start....

[drool]What are these knives ?[/drool]

Have you guys seen the lotto special on and A&E about the guy who did win the lotto and spent lots of money on knives? There almost all (shown anyway) fantasy type overpiced, overspiked, extra bladed collectors types. Its a shame really. They guy is probably broke by now. =(

I think I'd buy a knife shop and start making my own, although some stuff here is sweet.

I'd want the Emerson fixed blade that never went into production. The kandahar.

All I really want right now is a Case mini Trapper CV, yellow Delrin.

But since we are talking of winning the lottery here, I think I'd go for it in amber or chestnut bone handle (hey, I can dream, can't I?)

There's so many knives I'd buy! Which would be the first? Tough question, especially as I wouldn't want to be on some multi year list.

I think I would see just how much money it would take, to get an owner of one of Tony Bose's Stag Lanny's Clips to sell. Then I'd carry that bad boy around the world with me and spend my money like a drunken sailor! :D

Hmmm, It might be cool to commission someone to build me a custom multitool with premium materials and my choice of features and implements.

The Big One, however, would be an authentic, ancient Roman gladius. There's got to be one around for sale somewhere . . .

I would buy a new Toyota Tundra, and an Ferrari 430 first, plus a ford gt for my dad and a jaguar Xk for my mom.

For knives though I would probably order two of these

One of these along with a couple of Damascus ones

Then I would place a huge order from Newgraham, then another huge order from Knivesshipfree, along with one from PVK, and Notyourmommas knives.
Of course I would have to pick up a few Busses, and Grandsfors Bruks.

For customs I'd pick up a few RJ martin's, Mike Snody's, Bob Dozier's, Kirby Lambert's, damn there are so many good makers out there.
