Of the two, I recommend the Skeletool, since you will have the Endura (my FAVORITE EDC knife that is nothing but a knife), the Skeletool complements it perfectly in the other pocket, with great pliers, screw driver bits (it has interchangeble ones built in to the carry handle which is way cool), and it is super light and compact to carry. I never leave home without it or my Endura!

Wow, that's pretty rare like powernoodle said to see someone stand up and say it's my fault , and willing to make it right and then some. Speedy recovery mcraft and hope everything works itself out. Way to make things right.

Thanks Allen! man I have been so busy for the last couple of months that I haven't really talked to anyone or done anything "for fun", and even though the reason this thread here totally sucks for dasknife, I feel better and less stressed than I have in a LONG time. Thanks to all of you for being so kind and supportive, you are a good bunch of people, BF rocks :).

It isn't right yet, it won't be right until Dasknife has his blades, and I am ready to go, FedEX label printed out, Endura packed, and room for one more... now *I* am getting anxious, I really want to get you your knife, I feel very badly for putting you through this man.
 
Hi dasknife, I wanted to drop this off before FedEX stops picking up, and I went ahead and threw in the Skeletool. It is BNIB, never opened, I bought it to gift cos I love mine so much, so if you already have one or don't have one but don't like it (which I doubt, it rocks :)), and you don't want to regift it, then we can work something out. Take it easy man, I hope you enjoy the blades!!
 
I'd like commend both the OP and mcraft for the way this whole thing went down. Life is disorderly and as they say, shit happens. It's good to see two people work things out in a civilized way, realizing that we're all human and mistakes are inevitable. Way to go!

I was gonna post a different thread about this, but I dont' want to start any crap because it seems like a touchy subject here, I figure just using this thread will go under the radar :). Does anyone know if the Skyline BFC1760's are shipping yet or what the ETA is? THe buy thread is closed and I can't seem to find an update. I cancelled my order once i found out that they weren't FFG, and it turns out that was a good thing because I ordered two and needed the $ more, but not being able to sleep has been a blessing in disguise, as I have been able to do enough business(selling off a ton of my HT gear, blades, firearms, computers, tablets, iPods, you name it) to cover half of my medical bills in like 2 weeks, which I just dropped off today, at this rate I should be doing OK $ wise before I get cut up! I am going to assume that I don't have bone cancer (or assume that I do?) and live like there is no tomorrow, and I *LOVE* blades, and even not being FFG I still want one, it will complete my skyline collection (except for the Damascus, but didn't have luck looking for it several months ago).
 
We resolved our situation. I would like to explain myself. I would like to say that maybe I could have handled this a little differently or maybe not? I don't know. What's done is done. I don't really have any prior expierence with this this type of thing. I am guilty of saying that he could "take his time" I was just not under the impression it would have taken this long. Now, with the medical situation. I feel like a inconsiderate, but I was not aware of his current situation. Which I guess it's really none of my biz any was but...basically, our business deal has been resolved. Happy Holidays

Please don't feel like an inconsiderate anything, you did NOTHING wrong. My problems are my problems, not yours, and you send your knife in good faith, and I made you wait WAY too long for what you traded for. I completely understand your frustration and why you posted here, I have been in your shoes, which makes what I did even worse.

As far as what is going on in my personal life with my cancer or whatever it is, it isn't a big deal, I was in the military where in boot camp since we all ate, slept, PTed, and everything at exactly the same time, so that meant we all also had to go number 2 at the same times, and there were no stalls/walls, just toilets, and we only used one so we wouldn't have to clean the others. That basically meant that I had to do my business with between 1 and 80 guys in line(just depended on how fast I could get in line!) starting about a foot away from the toilet telling me to hurry the heck up. Ever since then, I really don't care about anything that anyone knows about me, going through that for a few months really changes perspective on what I care about regarding privacy :D.

P.S. thanks for chaning the subject, I don't know what that word means, but I like it :).

I remember those good ole days. Sitting on the throne with a good friend right across from you and holding down a conversation at the same time. We use wait for the poor soul to sit down and relax then yank the curtain back.

You had curtains?? We got screwed then, our bathrooms looked exactly like this:

yeah we had curtains, but seldom used them. After a while you stop caring and your sense of humor becomes skewd.
 
FYI, Das got his blades and likes em, so all worked out. This ain't my usual modus operandi, so in the future once I have my gold membership, if I buy, sell, or trade, it will be when I know I have the time for speedy transaction, my bad on this one, but never again!
 
FYI, had the operation, everything went OK, Dr even found extra unexpected stuff and removed that too, a good thing :). It hurts like all get out, but I do have one of those buttons I press for IV pain relief up to once every 10 min and it is helping somewhat. All in all "big success" to quote Borat. I wanted to thank all of the well wishers and nice folks on this thread for their kind thoughts, I thought about all of ya along with my family and other folks as I went under general anesthesia :).
