So I ordered a Zero Tolerance 0350 online yesterday and this is my first moderately expensive knive that I've acquired. I'm pretty stoked about this knife. It was a bit more than I usually spend on knives - I think I spent a little over 100 bucks (some of you high end collectors will laugh but I believe in keeping it real :D)

anyway I was hoping to get some input from fellow ZT 0350 owners... any quirks about the knife I should know about? Any hints/tips or experiences you can share? I wish I had this thing in my hand to actually show you guys, but it hasn't shipped out yet so I'm stuck waiting.

Leave in the Speedsafe and it's way better.....you're welcome.

If you remove the assist, do you just deploy with the thumb stub and ignore the flipper?
Those "thumbstuds" are technically blade-stops. If you look, they nestle into the top of the liners and handle to stop the blade, hence "blade stops". You can deploy the blade either way. It's all a matter of personal preference.

Oh dang... I didn't even see that. I'll have to give it a try and see how it handles!

Be prepared if the 0350 is your first $100+ knife.... it is a helluva gateway drug.

Yeah, I'm kinda worried. I've already got my eye on a Spyderco Domino for 200+ bucks ... it's started already

The blade-stops can be difficult for a lefty to use as "thumbstuds" and my hands are strong. Can't speak for a righty. I really like the knife. A very good value - S30V, assisted open (like it or leave it), strong liner lock and good QC. I like the tiger stripe but that's probably me. I'd also like to get the ZT200 (non-assisted) sometime.

What about the size? Has anyone found the size of the ZT 0350 to be an issue... liking getting it out and in of your pocket, etc...

the pictures make it look like a beast of a knife...

No, it's never seemed like it's been "too big" or been bulky in a pocket. There have been comments made at work about the size and the assisted opening but it's been nothing more than that.

It's all a matter of perspective. The ZT 0561 makes the ZT 0350 look small. ;)

Enjoy your new knife, you're going to love it.

I love my 0350 It's with me alot..I like the assisted opening knives some people say it scares people or they might wanna open their knife slow..I have a little knife on my keychain if i need a knife at the groceries store or someplace like that..So it does scare people LOL...Just got the 0700 for 79 bucks last month.Another great knife

All I can say is "you will love her" De-assisting is a matter of personal preference.
