Zero Tolerance 0350

The 0350 is a great knife. It's very solidly built and feels great in hand. It's not a small knife, but it is not especially obtrusive in pocket either (a slightly larger footprint than the Blur). The blade stops do work fine as thumb studs, but I think it works more naturally as a flipper. I like the assisted-open on it, so I've not bothered to remove it.

Next up, you should look at the 0300 series (big brother to the 0350). That thing is a beast!

I love the 0350 so much that I bought three of them! I prefer the SpeedSafe and the "Thwack" sound it makes when opened. It's a great knife, I'm sure you'll like it!

Either assisted or non-assisted its a great knife. For a ZT, its small (compared to the others) but it feels great in the hand. Its not a light weight, it feels solid. You won't be sorry. If this is your first ZT, hide your wallet

Flarp, thanks for the comparison shot. My wife bought me 2 of the 0301's for Christmas, but they are just a might to big to travel to work in my suit pants. The 0350's look like they would be just about the right size and still have some "heft" to them.
Good looking shot, thanks again.
Be safe.

This picture REALLY makes me want an 0300 series knife.....Ugh gotta hide my wallet again...

I have to seriously cool it, but a new 0350TS is going to join my 0550 this week. Hopefully it's a good one, These ZT's grow on you.

How does the warranty work? The knife is new but I don't have a box or paperwork.

As long as the blade doesn't have a 'XXXX' mark on it, it has a warranty. The KAI warranty is among the best in the business. You can disassemble/reassemble all you like (unlike Spyderco) and you can even do some minor modding as long as it doesn't affect the function of the knife. As long as you don't abuse it (it isn't a pry bar or screwdriver) you will be fine.

Congrats dark domino! I just recently made my first ZT purchase as well with a 0200 (should be here in the morning) I was toiling hard between getting the 0350 or the 0200 so I will be anxious to hear how you like it!

I'm really psyched to give this knife a try. Apparently it's due to arrive next week. I'll throw up some pics and thoughts asap

So I just got my ZT 0350 today, and wow... I'm really impressed. The first thing you notice about this knife is the weight... it's probably one of the heaviest folders that I've ever owned. However it's fairly compact and manageable... which is weird because the pictures of this knife make it seem like a giant cave-man blade.

The blade is centered perfectly and deploys lightning fast. The G10 grips feel comfortable too. I like how the knife feels very smooth in all it's functioning... nothing grinds or feels loose... it smoothly opens and closes up like a well-constructed knife should.

I heard some people on youtube complaining that the gimping on this knife was too aggressive, but I find it to be just right. Not sure what the gimping on the base of the handle is for though... looks cool though?

I'm going to try not to baby this knife, but since I spent a little more than I usually do on it... I don't think I'll be opening up tin cans or thrashing on this beautiful little piece any time soon.

Just man up and use it like you normally would! That is the only true way to use a ZT, and the only true way to see how well it compares to your others knives! Enjoy!

practice opening it with both hands. using the thumb studs and flipper. don't forget to practice closing with both hands.

Yeah I kinda get uneasy every time I try to close this knife with one hand. The flipper gets in the way when the knife is deployed, so you kinda have to get it started, get your fingers outta the way, then push the knife closed.

Go take that knife out and get it dirty! Right now! :D Great knives. I've got 2 and just about to order another. Whoever said hide your wallet wasn't kidding.

It's for when you're holding the knife reverse grip.

I like the speedsafe - and the knife is nice. One of the smallest ZT's but rugged and capable. Easier to carry in office settings etc. than a 0300 or 0200.

0350 is a sweet knife, I have one with speedsafe taken out and a wave put on the blade and another with speedsafe but its has not come yet but either way its a great knife and its one of the smaller ZT's.

Really cool knife, glad you like it, too! I got a 0350SW (stone washed) model a while back and I love it. It doesn't see as much pocket time as it should, but I blame that on my 0550 and 0561 :)
