Zero Tolerance 0801S110V Limited Run

I kind of want to do that too. Is it easy to do? Know any good step by step instructions for this?

You can heat anodize it with a blowtorch, although this will give a generally uneven coloration. The other process uses electricity, and is much more involved, but gives a uniform and more controllable color.

If I go the electric route, will the stonewash on the titanium handles hinder the anodization process?

As far as I know it will not. People have anodized Sebenza's to much success, and they are stonewashed as well. There are a couple members on the forum that will do custom anodizing for a fee. It would probably be less expensive than getting all the equipment to do it yourself.

Sebenzas are bead blasted, not stonewashed. Stonewashing and bead blasting will effect the colors and how they come out (brightness, depth, etc.) but you can still anodize over a stonewash finish just fine.

Thanks for the correction. The Sebenza blades are stonewashed though, right? For some reason I thought they both were.

Mine arrived today (#0193) and it is for lack of a better word...flawless.

First post here (been lurking for a while). After seeing these come in stock everywhere, then go out of stock just as quickly, I was sad I missed my chance. Found out (from you guys) about AoK, placed my order, and my new 801 came in today. This is my first ZT and I am totally blown away with the quality. With plenty of BM, Microtechs, and CRKs in my collection, this will easily be one of my favorites. S/N 160 and it has a very easy detent although since it's my first flipper, I have nothing else to compare to. Now if the 0562CF I preordered would ever get here...

Got mine today and dare I say it's better than the 0801cf and 0801brwcf I had?

It is seriously sweet. Detent is PERFECT. Not too strong (for me) and yet it still flies out and opens up perfectly every time.

I'm a newb when it comes to dealers but who is AoK?

I inquired about AOC with ZT last week. AOC is a legitimate ZT dealer with both an online and storefront presence in Cupertino, CA.

Google "Zero Tolerance 0801S110V" and you'll see it on page 2.
