Zero Tolerance 0801S110V Limited Run

Ultraviolet ano with blasted hardware. Even went so far as to laser engrave the ZT logo back on the clip:D

Alright now THAT^^ is amazing. That clip looks awesome! I generally modify my clips somehow as well. Either stonewashed or brushed finish. But I never would've dreamed of re-engraving the logo! Mad props!

Wow. Beautiful ano. It makes an awesome, but plain-Jane ugly knife look gorgeous. Wish mine looked like that.

just received mine, ser 0240

flips like a dream, was actually a bit surprised maybe even a tad disappointed that my detent strength is pretty standard, was kind of looking forward to a bit of a tougher detent after reading everyone's comments about it

either way it is fantastic knife

I've now handled about 4-5 of these, and only the very first one that I personally purchased and owned (and described earlier in this thread) had the "funky" detent hole and very strong detent. The other 3-4 that I have seen and handled had the "typical" detent hole and either a moderate or mild detent. I'm not venturing into speculation about why/what happened...just an observation.

I think it is an awesome knife "as is" (I like the bare, raw look), but I like some of the ano work I've seen on the scales and the ano hardware that can be obtained and installed for it. That ultraviolet^^^^ is very awesome.

After playing with and using my 801s110v I have to say this is by far the best 801 release in my opinion! I have heard a lot of talk about the inconsistency in the detent but mine is absolutely perfect (for me). Its just a hair stronger than a regular production one, and it flys out with ease and locks up more solid than any other 801 as well. It has such a reassuring and pleasurable "thwack!" when it locks up! I might get some other hardware and play around with that just to give it a more uniform look but I probably won't alter it much as I think its pretty great right out of the box.

I would also like to point out that after using and abusing this knife for a week I am VERY impressed with the S110v blade, I have opened up numerous cardboard boxes at work, cut open many driveway salt bags, cut plastics tie downs, and opened a few plastic clam style packages and this thing is STILL slicing phone book paper!

I would have paid $300 plus for this knife, worth every bit of the $240 price tag in my opinion, another home run by ZT! I can't wait for the 808!

The blue ti hardware give it a great look, I have a blue clip on mine and still plan on getting a blue pivot. The knife appears to be sold out everywhere now.

Pictures taken on my phone which doesn't capture the pop of the green (w/brushed blue) anodization.
