Zero Tolerance 170, 700, 750, and 780

Your post makes... well.. little sense in english...

How is this bad news? I just hate the lack of more drop/spear point folders... tanto and claw/talon do little for me..

And this is news? This pursuit of profit. I did not expect from ZT such bad news. This is just the end of the world. Benefits will destroy the world ((I am in anguish in his eyes, looked at the new items, it's a real plagiarism.
We call it not the source sentence - полный пиз**ц ) , it means that everything is very, very bad.:mad::mad:

ZT and RJ Martin are working together (aka collaborating) to produce several new knife models that are based on his custom designs. The 170 is based on the RJ Martin fixed blade that Thomas shared a picture of. Actually, everything is very, very good (except for 0500 being discontinued ;)).

RJ has also collaborated with Kershaw to produce several knives. Here is the link to his website showing his designs that Kershaw is producing:

well i'm glad i got a mudd (which lies in wait as the 200se gets all the action)...and i'll stay with my zt100 thankyouverymuch....

I bad speak English, please ask for details.Excuse me (

How is that plagiarism? (that's not the real term by the way. Plagiarism is copying written work without giving the original author credit).

Anyway, ZT did give credit to RJ Martin. So where is your problem?

I'm unsure how to respond.

Just know everything is well, and has been well for some time, with all parties involved. :)

Codename 47: Just to be clear, I designed the 170 for KERSHAW, borrowing some elements from my original custom design. It's all good!

I'm sorry to hear that the 0500 will be gone. I've always seen it as THE folder to set the ZT lineup apart from the rest of the crowd... =(

The new ZT folders are ugly as hell and I will pass on all of them. I got a ZT0301 and it's awesome, but I think BM has the best lineup for 2010 by far.

I found them here.

I think they look DIFFERENT form the original ZT's but I'm interested in them for sure.

These new folders all definitely look like "tactical" versions of other Kershaw knives, imho -

A video posted in the other topic described the top one as a straight-up re-release of an older Kershaw model, the one in the middle definitely looks like a Tanto JYDII, and the one on the bottom seems to have gained the nickname "Skyline from Hell" in another topic...

I like the looks of all of the new offerings - except maybe the Bayonet - 2010 might be the year I give the ZT line a try! :D

RJ Martin working with ZT??!!! Please Please make a ZT version of the GROOVE. The 1730 T with titanium frame and S30V blade would be AWESOME. Please Please Please someone make that happen.

These designs are somewhat interesting looking. Not my cup of tea, exactly, as I think they lack the grace and curves of the earlier ZT folders, but they should do well within the tactical crowd.

So you like recurves huh.

I was referring more to the handles, actually. Out of the knives I have, I found that the ZT 302's ovalish, palm-contouring handles were the most comfortable for me. But thats just personal preference, and many will prefer the low profile of flat g-10.

I think the blades themselves are pretty nice looking, especially the tanto, which I generally don't care for but ZT got their angles right or something because I do approve of this one.

Overall, I think its a good lineup for 2010, just definitely a departure from the early models.
